Decent enough team

Only 2 genuine quickies

Afridi might gamble and open with Hafeez (the bowling that is)

The only thing that worries me is that we have no backup for Razzaq. If he gets hammered, we have no option.

Pakistan: 1 Shahzaib Hasan, 2 Kamran Akmal (wk), 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Fawad Alam, 5 Mohammad Yousuf, 6 Umar Akmal, 7 Shahid Afridi (capt), 8 Abdul Razzaq, 9 Umar Gul, 10 Saeed Ajmal, 11 Shoaib Akhtar
England: 1 Craig Kieswetter, 2 Steve Davies (wk), 3 Ravi Bopara, 4 Paul Collingwood, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Luke Wright, 7 Tim Bresnan, 8 Michael Yardy, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Stuart Broad, 11 Ryan Sidebottom

Guys we should not let this happen-

5.44pm Shahid Afridi called correctly at the toss, and Pakistan will bat first. If England win today, they'll set a new record for consecutive wins in Twenty20 internationals.

good move to drop wahab riaz

i would've gone with yasir arafat, but hafeez is a decent bowler in LOC

Much more balanced team really, we had an extra bowler last game.

Hafeez+Razzaq have to bowl 4 overs combined

I don't think it should be a major problem

Why did Afridi open bowling with Razzler in the first match? And why is Alam still in the team? He was so miserable in the first match. He broke all the momentum that MoYo had built by wasting deliveries. He was clueless.

Won't be required today :afridi

havent we already set teh record for most wins wich i think is 7 games in a row so in that case they wil be equaling our record if they win today (KHUDANAKHSTA :yk )

I really hope they've brought the boundaries in by a little bit (not too much though, don't want a slogfest)

Its a t20 and the public deserves to see some sixes

the only problem with batting first is that the outfield might be very soft, and that the ball will not travel very far. The ball will also get heavy in a little bit and will become difficult to hit.

But it is a day night match, it is generally better to bat in the day.

Plus our batting can collapse, even in 20 overs if the opposition puts up a good score.

So overall a good decision to bat first.

my they love morgan.......it will be a big comedown when he fails....which he will.....ala pieterson

I really hope that inshallah Pakistan win to day AND Morgan gets castled for a nice lil golden duck...got nuhing against the guy but these commentators are reeeeaaallllyyyy annoying

5.44pm Shahid Afridi called correctly at the toss, and Pakistan will bat first. Afridi reckons there are runs to be had on what he thinks is a good batting surface. There's one change to his team, with Mohammad Hafeez coming in for Wahab Riaz, and Afridi also suggests that he, Abdul Razzaq and Umar Akmal will be sent up the order. Quite how that will mix the batting order up is, as yet, unclear. England, unsurprisingly, will field an unchanged squad. If the home side wins today, they'll set a new record for consecutive wins in Twenty20 internationals.

looks like Yousuf, Umar or Shahid will have to play a blinder...baaqiyon se to koi umeed naheen hai.

Too much batting in the shed today

Everyone should just come out and have a blast :afridi

:pissed: i really hope :afridi and co shut these commentators up today!!

crowd looks non existant.....should have held these matches in birmingham or manchester

wrong move to drop riaz. Riaz kept things economical last match and bowled decently.

Hafeez aint a good bat anyway. If they were going to drop riaz, I'd prefer if they brought in Yasir Arafat who's actually a better bat in T20s as well as a better bowler.

We have plenty of batting so we should not have any calm periods of play - just go for it and bat them out of the game

Sidebottoms got the ball Shaizab & Akmal in the middle

First ball....dot ball
