This was South Africa's day but that late wicket has ensured that they have not run away with the game. It would have been nice to snick another one but we need a good session tomorrow morning morning.

Pitch is lifeless but not to blame for the score. We created plenty of chances but we just didn't take them. Misbah dropped a catch, Kamran dropped a catch, Butt dropped a catch and a couple of run outs were missed. If we had even taken half of those chances we would have been well on top of this game.

All in all, SA have the advantage but we are not out of it. They have a long tail without Pollock and Boje so a couple of early wickets tomorrow will see them fall like dominos with Pakistan taking control of the game.

54.5 Danish Kaneria to Kallis, no run, outside off, short, forcing off the back foot, DROPPED, edges, Akmal can not hold on (Kallis was at 36 score).

61.2 Mohammad Hafeez to Kallis, 1 run, sweeps, DROPPED again as forward square leg dives but Butt can not hold on (Kallis was at 61)

Pakistan are not out of this match yet, quick wickets would be crucial since SA bat till only 7 + Pakistan need to bat very well in the 1st inning (get as close to the SA 1st inning target as possible) & not leave much for the 2nd inning since the pitch will start taking turn. On a second note pakistan have the habit of making a flat picth look like a bowling paradise!

Kallis was tremendous today. Although he got dropped twice, he played a wonderful knock and it was a treat to watch even though it was against Pakistan.

dont understand with playing 2 seam bowlers, team looks weak, faisal iqbals a liability.
