What I still don't understand about Misbah is that even when the pressure is released and the batsman with him is settled, there's still extremely unnecessary blocks

Its not impossible but very unlikely, the way they are batting , Pak won't get a big total, and the way we bowled so far in this tour, Lanka can't be bowled out for a smaller total.

This is a very risky strategy it's putting too much pressure on afridi and akaml if it comes of we might end up with 225-250 or we could collapse to 150.

Yeah it's definitely possible but the words pressure and Afridi just don't look right together haha.

But but they're not scoring at a strike rate of 300 like King Afridi!
 
Agree..need about 156-7 in next 9 overs..then aim for 100+ in last 14-15 overs..need one if these guys to play out the overs

Too many kids on PP who do not understand cricket. They should stick to IPL/BigBash etc.
 
Ramiz is commenting for Sri Lanka and looking for break through!!!!!! Our former players don't do anything to help our team without money. Wasim has time to give tips to Bangladesh and India!!!!

This is such butthurt logic. He's just saying if he was on their side what would be his approach.

You guys have some serious self esteem issues.
 
If I am Sri Lanka, I won't worry too much about not picking up a wicket. They have created enough pressure on Pakistan that it's just a matter of time before wickets start falling.
 
96/3 in 30 overs. No matter how bad the start was, this is not a satisfactory score at this stage. Both Misbah and Fawad have been too slow in scoring runs.

That's a good 50 from Misbah. He should go on and get his first century today. It would be the best time to get his maiden century.
 
people like Fawad, Kohli and Amla would have regular run outs cos they're too eager to rotate lol

Agreed. Where I'm sitting alot of people are actually swearing at them and want them to get out so Afridi "the saviour" can come in :facepalm:

Yaar there are actually a select few in our nation who actually understand this game. The rest are interested in slog fest alone and then blame the one they hate when we lose.
 
thing with fawad is that once he's into the <50 SRs, he can't really improve cos he isn't that type of player. Misbah as we've seen can hit massive but Fawad can't. This is what happens when he fails to stick to his stronger sides...rotating
