Pakistan vs WI: Day Two at Multan

In odis Razzaq usually gets forward cause the bowlers only allowed one bouncer per over.

razaq and gul having a chat after gul's 4 .... here's what was said

gul "razzaq u pansy let me show u how to bat"

razzaq " yaar plz don't make me look bad, i'm trying to retain my spot by scoring a glorious double-ten of off only 100 balls"

Does not matter if razzaq does not score. Even two wickets from him will be worth his position in the team

Man what the hell is Razzaq doing? He has a strike rate of less than 20 and he is just trying to block! this the time when you should hit the ball, when you know your innings is nearly over!

calm down yaar
1st he was seeing off the new ball and now he is playing for lunch

I'm willing to forgive Razzaq if he can come after lunch and score a quick 25-30 runs.

i think razzaq was single handedly responsible for handing WI the advantage.

now the pressure is on pak

only IF Razzaq had scored atleast 40 runs off his 89 delivereies, Pak would have been near 400 total. Pathetic batting from Raz today

How can a guy with every shot in the book in odis have trouble scoring in tests.

This innings of Razzak is the most selfish of have seen in a long time by anyone. He let the tailenders face the bowling and showed no attack whats so ever.

Shame on RAZZAK

Is he trying to get dropped? Pakistan now have lost the iniative and have to bowl really well if they want to get back into this.

This situation was tailor made from him. He was set (faced a lof of balls)

Tailenders were coming in all he had to do was attack PAK could easily have had 400+. Had he played normally they would easily have 375+

Razaaq while trying to prove that HE CAN BAT at TEST level, is not going to go for his strokes, and is waisting oppertunity for Pak.

But with this innnings he proved the following:

1. He has no batting brain (yet has played 40+ tests)
2. He bats with no footwork (which is ok if you are positive i.e. ODIs)
3. He does not like fast bowling he was letting the tailenders face Taylor.

Dissapointing session. Have to come back hard in this session and pick up some wickets. 350 odd is a decent score and will begin to look good if we can pick up some wickets. Gayle is vital once again. Restrict him and you can restict the Windies run flow. If he scores big and quick, they can harbor serious hopes of winning the match.

Give me a Afridi any day! I rather take a 25 off 20 balls than a 17 off 89 balls!

Dropping Abdul Razzaq would not mean a free tkt to Afridi. That is like taking another step backward. However, I must admit that Abdul Razzaq's body language had been incredibly poor despite the pressure he is in personally.

He did not look to come forward and play his strokes, and did not protect the lower order bats as well as he shd have.

Actually the point behind dropping Razzaq should be to get a third genuine pacer in the team IMO.

Another very good over by Gul. Need some luck here and we can get some wickets.

West Indies: 36/0 (13.1 Ovs)

C Gayle 24(36)
D Ganga* 12(43)

Pakistan will pay for not batting with more authority...Kaneria may have a role to play here.

West Indies: 46/0 (16.3 Ovs)

C Gayle 26(45)
D Ganga* 20(54)

lol at the cat and mouse game going on between Bishop and Dujon.

Dujon: Half an hour to tea, speaking of teas, Bish have you played any golf lately?
Bishop: It's very important that the West Indies batsman spend time at the crease

The next over.....

Dujon: Kaneria will want Gayle to be driving, speaking of driving Bish, played any golf lately?
Bishop: You'er right because that's where Gayle can get into trouble.

I just tuned in...am I missing something?

How is razzaq bowling?

he's putting a lot of work into it. Really coming in hard and bowling with a good line and length. Nevertheless, it's typical Razzaq. There isn't really any threat of a wicket takign delivery. The batsman are quite content with his bowling, lacking the pace to trouble them. It's an economic yet non-penetrative spell.

Nothing in the pitch - Pak should have crossed 400+ , atleast that would allow them to attack for longer periods of time.

On a placid wicket, termed as a Road by the commies, Pakistan played as if they were playing at headingly.

They should pay for it, which they are doing right now.

Typical pakis!!

Win the first test and they think all they ned to do is turn up for the next test and they will win.

The Pak batting this morning showed their professionalism for what it is!

Their attitude sucks.

Pakistan bopwling attack is known throughout the world.

West Indians will be bowled out within 200.

Inzi goes on the defensive. I think he had no choice. 53 runs were scored in 11 overs after tea.

Sheesh, the first bad day of the series isn't even over yet and the wolves are out. Typically Pakistani indeed.

Seems like no one is following the match anymore....Pakistan getting a sound phaintee at the moment.
