South Africa (404 & 73/2) crush Pakistan (333 & 138) by 8 wickets in the second match to level the 2-match series 1-1

Two pakistan captains have lost 10 or more test matches so far.

Misbah 26 won 19 lost in 56 matches.
Inzimam 11 won 11 lost in 31 matches.

Now shan masood is at the verge of losing 10th test match in only his 14th test match as captain, in just under two years.

South Africans really did their homework on Nauman and Sajid. One thing they have done very well in this test match is too make sure that they play with the bat every ball that is pitched on the stumps and to make sure that the ball does not hit their pads at all. They showed much better batting technique vs the Pakistani Spinners in comparison to the Pakistani batsmen vs the South African spinners which is something very alarming and damning for Pakistan Cricket and the quality of the batsmen we have.

This is the worst batting and bowling team that Pak has ever put on to the field & icing on the cake is a clueless captain who doesn't have natural leadership potential or cricketing intelligence & is afraid to lose & has questions on his own place.

Add to that we have a board that just believes in power or manifestation by repeating a lie over and over without really working on fixing anything.

We are cooked for real.

Bro, anyone who has watched Pak cricket knew this was inevitable. Pak is painfully predictable e.g. Babar always gets out in the first two overs of a new day no matter what his score was overnight, a match without a crucial drop catch cannot happen, they never hit the wickets to get run outs in important matches at important moments, etc.

Who else can replace Shan Masood as test captain? His test record and resume does not warrant him retaining the captaincy.
 
This test match has exposed that both Nauman and Sajid need an absolute rank turner to be effective. On a more balanced surface with less spin, more time for the batsmen to adjust they don't have the bowling iq and discipline to set batsmen up
 
Sajid has seen how Stephen Harmer has bowled on this pitch. Why does he not have the brain cells to try and around the wicket to the right hander, bowl wicket to wicket and emulate his field placings? Do our players even properly analyze the game?
 
Only solace shan can take away from this is that since the aqib era started he hasnt lost a test series at home.

Only wins or draws 🤣🤣. But that ignores the fact that excluding england, they've only been 2 match series lol

Ideally yeah but in Pakistan set up you need a strong headed captain . Saud I feel is kinda Babar Azam mold .introvert who might crumble under pressure . Agha has experience now to captain in pressure games and has that fighting spirit .

If they want to play rank turners at home then they need to ensure they prepare dry rank turners in their domestic cricket
 
Aqib Javed: I turned Pakistan into a fortress. Since I interfered we havent lost a single series at home, only wins or draws :qdkcheeky

Meant to say genuine test batting or bowling all rounder. We have none at present.

Even someone as good as Abdul Razzaq will do.
 
Unbleiveable from shan masood to continue on with noman ali. I know its a hopeless situation but after his first 3 overs he should have given thr ball to shaheen.
 
The match was lost when Pakistan allowed SA to recover from 210/7 to 403 all out and to secure a vital 74 run lead. The team was playing catch up and under pressure from that point on.

Shan Masood has to axed as captain. His track record of losing winnable matches and failure to handle pressure as captain is impossible to ignore. He's been given a fair chance as captain and he is not up to task.

Yes but poor captaincy from Shan sealed the deal. Test Cricket is a mental game as well and the demoralization of conceding a 74 run lead when you could have had a 124 run lead clearly told on the players

They don't. Their schedule has weak teams but they themselves are a weak team. Assuming those series are all 1-1 and England series is 0-3, they end up 5-6.
