When the situation gets tough we just crumble mentality weak individuals in reality they should have batted south Africa out of the game in first innings we had the first two days when the condition were good for batting

This innings reminds of Labu batting for a long time against india in BGT only to flop for a low score and waste everyone's time.

Difference is that Labu atleast scored a match winning 70 later on but was still dropped eventually due to being the black sheep of the aussie family.

Rizwan on the other hand may actually be rewarded for a future t20 spot. Bas aik 50 ki baat hai. Doesn't matter if it comes vs Nepal and that too in 100 deliveries.

Just one 50 is all its gonna take.

and he averages 23 at home Since Pak stopped making Roads to Bat. How do you average 23 in Test Cricket at home in your prime years and be called Generational talent? the delusion of Fans is beyond me

Other 10 players? Are you expecting tailenders to bat better than Babar? By the way amongst all batsman in this series Babar has performed worst or may be he is close to Abdullah. All others have played at least 1 or 2 big inning which is also not convincing as they should have played better but Babar is getting worst day by day

Babar is worst because he struggles agains Spin.. But What about others? who were called the best against spinners???

Great to see that pakistan is running out of this temporary solution of spin tracks. West indies drew a series here and now south africa and their spinners have actually faired better than ours.

Shan Masood has 2 fifties in this series and probably highest scorer from Pakistan. Babar has been consistently failing and averages 23 at home since Start of 2023 , Lowest among All top 6 of Pakistan who are not great but Babar the so called generational talent happens to be worst among worst. Even Shan Masood out scores him every series and Shan is argubaly the worst top order test batter that has played 10 years for Pak
 
Pakistani players never play on spin tracks, all the tracks in pakistan domestic are flat. You see the figures of spin bowlers in domestic and you understand that. Playing spin is not our strength, its just a fallacy. We need to make sporting wickets, beating england last year was a one off. We wont be able to beat newzealand or australia on these tracks.

I am unable to understand why you still have sympathy with Babar even after seeing disaster after disaster, this is his 61st test match and if he can't perform in home conditions then he should be dropped forever. All others have scored good 70+ scores at least once and Shan has scored twice. Still I agree they all should have batted better but Babar the golden boy is the worst amongst this lot

Because we have other players like Abdullah and Shan in the squad.. whose performance are once in a blue moon that makes them look top class...

This fraud has paid shills at his disposal and that’s how he intends to play cricket now. He hasn’t played a international level knock in three years now and supporting this just makes my blood boil
 
Pakistan 138 all out. Today they have lost 6 wickets for Just 44 runs.

South Africa needed 68 runs to win the match and draw the series.

Well done South Africa, deserved to win the first test too but unlucky there as they missed Maharaj.

Normal service resumed here as you just can’t see Pakistan compete with the top teams unfortunately.
 
Technically Asif Afridi is a much better batsman than the other bowlers, yet he batted at 11. Might not have mattered in a situation like this where we had already lost mentally but if he plays more for Pakistan it is something that should be considered.

even that was due to changing pitches midway whereas england had brought a team for flat tracks like 2022. if they knew they would be served these would have come with a different squad.
 
Warrican had 19 wickets against pakistan @ 9 per wicket.

Here muthusamy, harmer and maharaj all have enjoyed bowling.

Noman ali and sajid were just being helped by the extra spin friendly tracks.
 
South Africa proved once again why they are world test champions and that the first test loss was because of the fact they didn't acclimatize to the conditions.

And England had brought over a team for flat wickets. Else would have accurate darters like Hartley.

Shan Masood showing yet again why he is such a pathetic captain. He is defending 68 and he doesn't have enough people close to the bat.

Long term solutions like our clown board sticking to atleast one format of the QeA Trophy?

Forget about Tests to be honest, our players don’t want to play this format. We literally play these games because it’s an obligation and there’s good evidence that these two tests were actually used as an audition for Babar for the T20 team.

Matlab that’s the level of thinking, and you believe these mediocre players can compete against much higher skilled players in a format where only the best can come out on top?
 
Pakistan needs a good competent captain who makes the right decisions on the field which regards to field placings, bowling changes at vital times as well to excell as a team. This aspect of the game is massively under rated
