Zimbabwe is clearly in the driving seat they are the ones thinking of improving their NRR by completing the chase as soon as possible. pakistan are salvaging some pride for themselves by playing out all the overs. Nothing to see here
 
That was a good ball but Afridi played that like a tail ender :/

Clearly the pressure put by Misbah caused Afridi's wicket. Misbah should have tried hitting before knowing he had such amazing batsmen left
 
I feel for Maqsood.

The guy has been shoved all over to suit diffrent agendas.

Our performance this time around isn't so different from 99, or '03 or '07 or '11 actually...Our batting lineups then performed very similarly ...the only difference was that we had world class bowlers to come to our rescue...we still performed badly ofcourse but they kept us at a level above the real minnows...

The flood gates have opened now...Say hello to literal minnow-ship.
 
I blame Misbah for this. Because of his slow batting Umar the golden boy akmal and the superstar played all around regulation left arm deliveries.
 
We had the chance of bringing in the extra bat of sirfaraz but no like our batting is our solid????

wow misbah trolling again.. cant give any excuse for sending a tailender afridi above maqsood a proper batsman. clueless mgmt again,,, afridi cannot play 17 overs then why would u promote him up the order... it will click only 2 out of 20 matches.. seems like they dont worry about the 18 matches getting lost...
 
So guys how can we blame the last two dismissals on Misbah too?

Surely he's slow SR is why we are in this position..how could he not see the list legendary batsmen to follow after him and took more risk?....he was playing as if he alone could survive on this pitch and without his tuk tuk, we wouldve been all out at less than a 100.

How his team mates proved him wrong :14::14:

Should have been on the front foot to cover that. But it was Afridi's second ball only so understandable.

it is another pathetic performance
 
I think role of Misbah is under appreciated for a mediocre team like Pakistan.


Obviously we see other teams and for them, Misbah is just a burden.

But for a team having trouble batting out 50 , I don't understand how making 60-70 even at a SR of 50 is worse than making 0 of 10 balls or 1 off 4 balls.

Do you understand the meaning of strike rotation?
 
Same old shame... why on earth would you want to promote Afridi ahead of Maqsood when you know Afridi is pretty much a walking wicket...
