I think role of Misbah is under appreciated for a mediocre team like Pakistan.


Obviously we see other teams and for them, Misbah is just a burden.

But for a team having trouble batting out 50 , I don't understand how making 60-70 even at a SR of 50 is worse than making 0 of 10 balls or 1 off 4 balls.

Where did cornered tiger, aggression and talented stuff come from?

Yes, this is a decent innings from Misbah, but still doesn't take away from the fact that 3 off 30 odd balls is just pathetic. He didn't even attempt to take singles.

I'm not asking him to hit boundaries, but at least rotate the strike and go at a strike rate of 50 - 60 at the start.
