Pakistan win the 2nd Test against Bangladesh by an innings and 8 runs - Win series by a 0-2 margin

Spinners have been pathetic with the ball here in this inns. no change in flight, variation or bowling speeds. Also Babars captaincy again is poor and negative. just go all out to win for god sake.
 
And they keep gifting wickets. What was the need there just before tea.

no they have not been pathetic... Nauman had two wickets, one was an edge not reviewed and one was a no ball
 
The match is gonna be a draw. The play ends really quickly in this ground. We will see only an hours play and with Shakib out there with mehdy, Bangla can easily survive this
 
Great effort by Pakistani bowlers, and some gifts from BD again, to put Pakistan in this position, finishing first inning quickly and then making big I road in second inning. If Shakib enables BD to escape them good on him, but looks a little chance now that this match will end in a draw.
 
Just hope Babar doesn't get fooled by that run out, give credit to Nauman and keep him for next 10+ overs

Agree people blaming Nauman probably not watching the match, he has served many wicket taking deliveries in the match. It happens sometimes you do not get the wickets. Nauman is not long term answer for Pakistan though.

He is not as fool as you make him out to be, he has spread and bowled all the bowlers well.

It will most likely if Babar insist with Nauman for long. Need to bring Shaheen one end and Sajid other end. Hasan will keep leaking runs. Fahim is so useless but he is golden boy of Pakistan. Nasim Shah would be better instead of Fahim.

Hope I am wrong otherwise it will be draw for sure. Sajid is ok but no where close to Kaneria/Yasir. So we need aggressive Afridi to get the tailenders.
 
pitch has definately flattened out but our spinners in second innings i dont think have landed a ball straight yet
 
Looks like left hand is in pockets when Sajib is bowling .. I think he loses control and not consistent because of that wierd action
 
Composition of bowling attack in tests for next series needs to be looked at, spin options arent great. fahim as a 5th bowler, 3rd seamer is useless.

Why is faheem Ashraf playing in such rank turners

In this part of the world , they should be playing 3 spinners

Needs to give sajid a rest

3. Nouman with all fielders in inner circle

because hes there for so called team balance at number 7 as batsmen and a 5th bowling option. Poor option in this conditions.
 
Babar is such a dumb captain. Bringing most useless bowler and hoping to get wickets. We don't deserve to win this test.

16 overs left before new ball. If it reaches that point, I guess BD will have some 5-7 runs lead. Which will make Pakistan to bat again. They'll lose some 2-3 overs in inning change.
 
I think we will have 10 12 more overs only. Pakistan were lucky to get last two wickets , bowling has been flat barring the new ball.
 
Pitch has really flattened out now but Faheem and Nauman have been really toothless this entire series

Misbah's dummy. But blame goes to Saqlain this time for selecting Nauman after first test. Don't think we will even take 10 wickets.
 
Both Nauman and Sajid will ball to the end now. Should hand shake and finish the match. Babar will not try something new for sure.
 
The pitch is flat , pakistan cant really do much. Didnt take care of ball enough to induce reverse swing either.

What is the point of using Nauman if he cannot take wicket. Just hand shake. You cannot get away with poor team selection all the time.
 
We have done exceeding well to reach this stage in two days of play and people are still moaning. This will be probably be a draw but if we can get shakibs wicket somehow might get interesting
 
Why can't Babar use Azhar/Fawad? Nothing to loose. Nauman is useless bowler and Sajid is nothing special.

Forget about last 4 days. Think of getting 10 wickets in 90 overs on last day of test cricket against weakest batting line up.
 
Terrific fight back from Shakib but the Pakistani bowlers have been in the field a heck of a long time now (100+ overs) and there is just such little time in the game.

I would hope the ICC looks into giving Bang a nudge to improve their grounds so they dry out quicker.

Pakistan already got 10 wickets...their bowlers had to run back in and try and pick up another 10...that's 20 wickets in a very short span of time. Bang are not playing in Pakistan, or England, or Australia...they know their conditions and they can still bat a bit. The fact that Pakistan have almost won a game with barely 2 days of cricket is a testament to the side. You should be proud of this effort.

When the wicket has something even avg bowlers like Sajid can wreck havoc, when it gets flat then the avg bowler gets exposed.

We needed something special from Hasan Ali and Shaheen

Well played Pakistan. The conditions went against them. Still 15 more overs to go, they can win.
Less said about the BD batting approach the better. Some of the shots in first innings were horrendous and very timid approach, that too in your home conditions. Really poor.
 
He was always a great bowler in under 19s i don't have a clue why people thought he chucks. if we can him bowling regularly in onedays it will help us so much
 
Shakib has shown his class today averages 40 with the bat and 31 with the ball a better batsman than Asad Shafiq and a better bowler than Nauman too good for a team like Bangladesh.
