A lot of us supported Jibran and i think my posts are still there where i even hoped he would defeat PTI candidate because we need people like him in parliament but Jibran has been quite pathetic since his election loss. He is no longer balanced in his criticism and actually quite pathetic at times and this tweet is very good proof. We have forgotten how just 2 months ago Imran Khan proved how he is far different from extremist like Modi and even fired his minister for comments against Hindus. His response to Asia Bibi's case and pledges to support minorities, plenty of steps in KPK to empower minorities, stance on Afghan refugees in humanitarian grounds etc speak volumes about what he stands for.
Shameful tweet by Jibran and very disappointing as well.
Jibran was a fraud from day one, as a resident of Karachi he was totally oblivious of the terror inflicted upon Karachi by MQM and it's three decades of thuggery and violence. Somehow Jibran could never muster the courage to condemn MQM, not even a peep.
Which was a rather palpable position since both he and MQM were/are on the same faux/khooni liberal agenda.

Majority people are dominated by Establishment propoganda and don't realise main parties can only come to power with Establishment backing. Therefore it is very difficult for a left wing party (eg AWP) to become mainstream.

That's because left-wing parties are too susceptible to get themselves involved in the mud slinging game. Sometimes, keeping silent and letting the right (read status quo) eat right is the best thing one can ask for. The left should focus on issues pertaining to the people before dabbling in shamming the establishment. This is not to say that establishment isn't a problem for the people, but without focusing and highlighting micro-level issues, the left cannot expect the common people to have its back.
