italian metrimonial stats 2018, Pakistani/egyptian men-italian women are most common foreigner couple , this is because people from both communities are male laboureres and recent arrivals , while in UK Pakistanis of both genders are present in large numbers , so pakistani men will prefer british passport holder pakistani, pakistanis like there kind the most out of all middle easterners and south asians from my experience, even most westernized pakistanis say they will prefer pak girls over white if they become westernized , recent survey shows that most pakistanis are attracted to local women the most and this is when there is huge influx of hollywood/bollywood/turkish media. When you count the immigration population of guys there really isnt a shortage of available men. The real reason for females having trouble finding someone is that there aren't enough high earning guys available for everyone. Guys who have low paying jobs are deemed "losers" and not worthy of marriage. High earning guys are willing to marry down, but high earning females aren't, and hence there is a shortage.

Nailed it with your questions!! For South Asians in general an "American woman" or a western woman for that matter is basically a white woman. Not surprising from a culture where word for beautiful woman is "gori". God help the poor Indian/Pakistani/Sri Lankan/Bangladeshi dude flying back home with a black woman - him and his black spouse would face high social stigma.

It is a lot more common now in my age group late 30s early 49s I know 8-10 mixed marriages of 2nd gen Pak girls with non Pak guys and probably about the same my number of guys are married outside of the community

tbh when you have money , you try to enhance your harem and taste everything , so diversifying of harem is understandable. Also among middle eastetners there is obscession to get rid of their ethinic features like noses and monobrows , they want more harmonious features.

I think there is always and will always be an attraction of opposite colours for some. White people are drawn to dark skin people, dark skinned are similarly attracted to light. Those in between probably don't give a fig.

Who knows but in many cultures light skin was considered even in nonwhite cultures long before the rise of the west, for example light skin is even considered attractive and dark skin is given negative attributes within Hindh scripture that goes thousands of years - although one could argue that the Aryans that brought the religion to south Asia were themselves were 'westerners' as they were from the Caucasus.

I guess that would substantiate my first post in this thread, post #7. Pakistanis generally want partners who share similar values, and religion still seems to count for something even among the irreligious. I don't think it is a racial aspect which stops Pakistani guys and girls marrying out, definitely more a religio-cultural thing.

That said I know of three Pakistani guys married to English girls just in my own circle, so not sure where you live. Wembley or Southall I am guessing.

A Pakistani in britain is generally distinguishable easily from an Indian

In fact many Latin American governments forcefully encouraged miscegenation to breed out Black and Brown people and "Europeanize" their population. There is a concept in Latin America called "Mejorar La Raza"which literally means "whitening the race through marriage", it is an extremely common concept in Latino communities and is pushed aggressively - marriage with Black and Indian people (both Natives and East Indian) is discouraged. This is extremely bad, in fact Latin American countries are the worse for race relations and their obsession with mejorar la raza, we don't even have such a concept in Desi culture, people may prefer a lighter skin spouse but they don't plan to "whiten the race" - in fact rarely if ever do south asian communities think of themselves as a race, this is a more new world concept.

Eugenics and systemic racism are a big part of the Americas, the entire history is rooted in it and it started with the inquisition.

Wanting to look lighter vs wanting to look European are too different things

Tanning is popular in northern european lands too

Many European women try to go to tanning beds all the time to darken their skin

It is a lot more common now in my age group late 30s early 49s I know 8-10 mixed marriages of 2nd gen Pak girls with non Pak guys and probably about the same my number of guys are married outside of the community

A Pakistani in britain is generally distinguishable easily from an Indian

Even white KKK/EDL members facially can tell the difference between Pakistanis and Indians here

Pakistanis resemble Usman Khan the knife attacker while Indians resemble the guy who arrested the guy

Its probably due to more Mirpuris and Pathans being here

The difference in looks is noticable.

same here in germany, I have never confused indians in a group of 3 and more for a pakistani. Also differences are in facial features and body type rather than skin color. And this is when most pakistanis aborad are from cities specially lahore and karachi , you send people from villages of punjab/kpk/gilgit/sindh/balochistan differences would be even more easy.

Guess what I am Azad Kashmiri and in my circle mainly of Azad Kashmiri background I see a lot of mix marriages.

You have mentioned Arabs but you haven't mentioned their faith as they could all be Christian (most Lebanese for example in the UK are Christian)
