From Ramiz Raja in December to Najam Sethi for the next six months and now Zaka Ashraf set to become the PCB Chairman.

So it's gone from a PTI man to PML-N and now PPP. What an absolute farce!

I can't imagine what the Pakistani players will be feeling with so much insecurity and instability.

One day you are made the chairman then the next day suddenly you are sacked. No wonder PCB is such a mess.

Literal musical chairs

Even the title in question has the word chair in it :afridi

well, PTI govt could had made a strong PCB constitution, but..... Apna banda jo lana tha ander

Changes again for the top PCB seat. PCB loves to shoot itself in the foot especially in a WC year

win win for him, he gets paid if he gets fired. ANd he never quit his last job

True, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll get a new contract with Derbyshire. They’re bottom of Division 2 and will probably fail to make the finals day in vitality blast.

It is already a documented fact that Mickey is the worst coach in the world, but they are plenty of teams out there at different levels that would offer him a hefty contract based on his past experience as a top level coach.

As far as the topic is concerned, this is expected when the PCB Chairman is appointed by the incumbent PM.

Every PM wants his man in the seat and performance doesn’t play any role in selection or removal.

Imran Khan had the chance to amend this but he also wanted a yes man.

Soon Tauqir Zia will take the place of PCB chairman and change all the constitutions for further appointments of PCB chairmen. :ssa2

Yea, 200 wickets probably will never happen if Shaheen doesn’t get them. There is simply too much age-mucking in Pakistan. Plus, we aren’t gonna play enough Tests. The UAE Test era killed Test cricket. And Ramiz Raja put the nail on the coffin with all his pitch manipulating shenanigans.

Oh yes well remembered about Ramiz Raja’s pitches. I thought he was a horrible chairman despite having done the good deed of getting rid Misbah as Head Coach immediately. The reason I say this is because he gave Babar far too much authority and in return he abused it.

Simon Doull is never one to mince his words when he’s commentating. In fact he’s the only one you’ll find who doesn’t care about political correctness. Simon questioned whether the order for those super flat wickets had come from Babar.

It’s astonishing that someone from New Zealand (albeit an ex-player) has spotted this but also has the balls to say it without fearing the backlash he would get from the blind Babar/Pakistan fan brigade.

Speaking of backlash, Major wanted Simon Doull to be blacklisted all because he was questioning the pitches in Pakistan and the way Babar was pursuing milestones. On the topic of captaincy, we know Babar was groomed by Misbah when he became Head Coach so you can see why he got triggered at the time. But now, Misbah has changed his tune and recently thrown Babar under the bus for picking the wrong players, so in recent days, Major has followed suit. You couldn’t make this up :ROFLMAO:

Ramiz is a comical guy. Pouring literal cement inside pitches to flatten them so Bobby can improve his test record and score some hundreds. 🤣 Also decreasing the boundary sizes to 50m—which is considered a joke in any reputable club cricket circuit. Pakistan would go on to loose any way. Ramos’s tenure was nothing short of shambolic. There was definitely some feud behind the scenes because Ramiz Raja went rogue against PM IK. For the past 1+ year, Imran Khan has been ignoring Ramiz’z calls. 😆 Ramiz is a no body to IK. He’s hated even by his former captain. That tells you everything about what a failure Ramiz was as chairman.

Of course, Ramiz was responsible for making Babar captain along with Misbah. Ramiz did not miss any opportunity to criticize Sarfraz’s captaincy when he was on live commentating. Ramiz had a personal issue against him and always nitpicked on air. Whenever Babar was on screen, he would make weird noises for every shot he played. 😂 😂 OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! What a shot!!! 🤣 It was the most ordinary drive that any club cricketer could do after a 2 week camp. He would keep calling him best batsman in the world and praise him nonstop. He was incredibly infatuated with Babar and wanted him to be captain for many years. He couldn’t bear seeing Sarfraz as captain. 😂 He literally hated seeing Sarfraz in Pakistani gear.

A while back, he said Sarfraz’s career is almost over. HOW COULD ANY ONE SAY THAT? 😂 This totally reeked of biasness & bitterness. I’m telling you this guy hated Sarfraz and wanted him to never play again. We all know how dumb-founded Ramiz’s statement was when Sarfraz made a legendary comeback in the NZ Test series in December of last year. 🤣

I have so much to say about how much Ramiz disliked Sarfraz. As well how much Misbah disliked him.

I thought with Ramiz's commentary experience and thus his current knowledge of Pakistan's squad, he was going to do alright. His first move to get rid of Misbah was a good one.

But it turned out he was still stuck in the 80s during his playing days under IK's captaincy. Ramiz showed how out of touch he was and how delusional he was to make Babar think that he was the second coming of IK.
