First thing that came to mind…
What’s the count in International cricket? Do you really care about domestic leagues or tournaments? And what opposition?
0-11Jadeja does it every game.. even in IPL.. does Farhan do it in every game, he himself said he felt to celebrate and isn’t much into celebrations.
And nothing wrong in his celebration but the comparison one doesn’t hold up, Jadeja doesn’t care who the opposition is.
Must have been Sheikh Salman instructing him
The gap will only grow.Look Pakistani fans know their team cannot compete with India. So they get happiness from little things like Farhan's celebrations & Haris Rauf's antics even as their team lose badly. Fair play here
Reminds me of a 2018 WC game between England & Panama. England were 4 or 5 goals up. Still when Panama scored - they celebrated like crazy. Coz for them even scoring a goal against a big team like England was huge occassion.
Pakistan cricket right now is like Panama football. Also says something about state of the rivalry now
Yes but if u are Pakistan fan or cricketer - what choice do u haveYou can celebrate however you wish but all the guns and plane gestures don’t mean squat if you don’t accomplish your desired result in what you came out to do on the cricket field. It’s funny to see how everyone is going gaga over silly gestures when the team themselves is losing badly. It appears like a coping mechanism to divert attention from the poor performance of the PCT and the fans are lapping it gleefully.
See this is the problem. Indian fans will get more cocky & arrogant towards Pakistani fans. That will force Pakistani fans to get more edgy to get back at Indians. Like more " eating beef " posts or mocking Pahalgam victimsThe gap will only grow.
Good thing is they can't lose more as they are already losing. Just the margins of defeat will keep getting bigger.
It won't. How can you compete against nations with bigger paychecks and better infrastructure? This is why I hope PCB ressurects Pakistan cricket & make their team more competitive
Else this rivalry will degrade into a unending cycle of ugly upmanship in future with nothing positive on the actual cricket field
They can get edgy as they like. Won't stop their losing. At one point they will give up on cricket like they did hockey.See this is the problem. Indian fans will get more cocky & arrogant towards Pakistani fans. That will force Pakistani fans to get more edgy to get back at Indians. Like more " eating beef " posts or mocking Pahalgam victims
Its actually 2 way street.
Its the sentiment shared by majority of muslims..I personally think this and Rauf wiht 6-0 is pathetic but it's the Indians who have opened the door with this. And once the door is opened it won't be shut. What's funny is SKY hugging Omani players who were born and bred in Karachi.
Personally I'd rather not play India at all.
stop showing them the mirror… why you breaking heartsI think he did it after one of his great innings against Sri Lanka, before he was captain.
I would like to inform the young Pakistani patrons of this forum that the political relationship between India and Sri Lanka had also not been a bed of roses.
At the behest of Russia, India facilitated a civil war in Sri Lanka by supporting Tamils. The reason being, the latter had a seaport deal with the US, which Russia didn't like.
Later on the Indian government turned on the Sri Lankan Tamils. Consequently, the Sri Lankan Tamils assassinated a former PM of India for betrayal.
When Dhoni mimicked a machinegun in his celebration, no Sri Lankan complained.
Sikandar Raza- Zimbabwe citizen and Aly Khan (USA bowler) as well.Cause issue is with the Pakistani state not the people.
Tahir, Rashid, Mooen etc all play IPL
That’s the exact meaning of the word, show the mirror and then twist the words and call it something else…
Its called hypocrisy..Cause issue is with the Pakistani state not the people.
Tahir, Rashid, Mooen etc all play IPL
Its called hypocrisy and gaslighting..Cause issue is with the Pakistani state not the people.
Tahir, Rashid, Mooen etc all play IPL
Ban Indians from PSL and be happyIts called hypocrisy and gaslighting..
Pakistanis dont have issues with Indians…Ban Indians from PSL and be happy
Exactly. But both bcci n pcb are just greedy money hungry boards.I personally think this and Rauf wiht 6-0 is pathetic but it's the Indians who have opened the door with this. And once the door is opened it won't be shut. What's funny is SKY hugging Omani players who were born and bred in Karachi.
Personally I'd rather not play India at all.
Replying or discussing is not crying. The OP is not even indian.I’m not the one crying about gun gestures and hand signals am I? That’s Indians after politicising the game and then getting a taste of their own medicine.
What is the state of India please enlighten us?Pakistanis and making full mileage out of delusions and lies. Name a better duo. If anyone wonders about the state of the country. The entire awam lives in denial and alternate reality.
Imagine both getting bans before finalsFines/Bans incoming for Rauf/Farhan.
PCB might now threaten to pull out.
They will pull out.Imagine both getting bans before finals![]()
Complaint was not needed at all. A Clown is always behave like ClownFines/Bans incoming for Rauf/Farhan.
PCB might now threaten to pull out.
Will they ban arshdeep as well?Fines/Bans incoming for Rauf/Farhan.
PCB might now threaten to pull out.

Did nothing on field during a game. Will they ban arshdeep as well?
Then why are they crying for what naqvi did off the field.Did nothing on field during a game.
U can add sky too.india will get another good inform batsmen .Yeah... Add arshdeep in that list also
No one is fining Naqvi. Then why are they crying for what naqvi did off the field.
He is the acc president who is supposed to organise the event fairly.not a random illetarte. Then why are they crying for what naqvi did off the field.
Thing is Sky has done nothing wrong.U can add sky too.india will get another good inform batsmen .
Pcb accused sky for pahalgam comments not for handshake.few Muslim players avoid handshake with women in other mixed sports on religion basis, so nothing can be done for that.Thing is Sky has done nothing wrong.
Handshake is not mandatory and in his PC never mentioned Pakistan once.
Rauf is in direct violation though.
Talk about it when Jay Shah is not doing biased bhangra while being ICC chairmanHe is the acc president who is supposed to organise the event fairly.not a random illetarte.
What has he done ? Any controversial tweet ridiculing pak undermining his own event ?what naqvi did is stupidity beyond any logic or sense.its catered to pak people served by pak interior minister who dont have any productive work to do as acc or pcb chairmanTalk about it when Jay Shah is not doing biased bhangra while being ICC chairman
Pahalgam comments nothing was wrong.Pcb accused sky for pahalgam comments not for handshake.few Muslim players avoid handshake with women in other mixed sports on religion basis, so nothing can be done for that.
Yeah . Complaint is only for the sake of awaam consumption .it dont have any legs as the comments are well designed with out mentioning pak.Pahalgam comments nothing was wrong.
He never mentioned Pakistan.
Pakistan anyways denies Pahalgam, so why getting bothered anyway?
Rauf was direct violation. Won't be surprised to see him getting fined/banned.
Well, let Jay Shah and Sanjog Gupta handle it.This is unbelievably soft from a board that was saying “handshake is not a requirement and it’s not a big deal”
Why complain now when you are responsible for making the game dirty?
Heheheh not crying. What a bunch of crybabies BCCI+India
What do you expect when you kill kids in another country and then label that country as terrorists?
The people of that country will respond brutally. Take it! You started it! Why crying now?
Wouldn't acknowledging Rauf's gestures to the crowd as 'political' mean also acknowledging that Indian jets were downed? Something the Indian government has constantly denied? He mentioned military operations which involved India.
Surya never mentioned Operation Sindoor etc.
Not really.Wouldn't acknowledging Rauf's gestures to the crowd as 'political' mean also acknowledging that Indian jets were downed? Something the Indian government has constantly denied?
Because otherwise he's just moving his hands around.![]()
Ronaldo scored a free kick that dipped and went in goal.
Like the arc of a Brahmos.Ronaldo scored a free kick that dipped and went in goal.
If you don't believe the Pakistan POV to be true then why should you be bothered about him waving his hands around? Not really.
He was indicating the Pakistani point of view about the conflict which is that 6 jets were downed.
It being real or not doesn't change the fact it was political.
If someone from India wore a "Balochistan is not Pakistan" shirt Pakistanis would have been offended and called it "political" even though Balochistan is internationally recognized as part of Pakistan.
Like I said - it is a political point meant to demean. If you don't believe the Pakistan POV to be true then why should you be bothered about him waving his hands around?
Penalizing him for this would be seen by most as an implicit acknowledgement of Pakistan's POV
Not all fans. Only very childish ones. Most Pak and Indians esp abroad respect each other and know that the media and politicians have an interest in keeping people apart and angry.See this is the problem. Indian fans will get more cocky & arrogant towards Pakistani fans. That will force Pakistani fans to get more edgy to get back at Indians. Like more " eating beef " posts or mocking Pahalgam victims
Its actually 2 way street.
The fans sitting there together seem remarkably well behaved. But in actual fact the Indian team captain is whipping up the crown by discussing pehelgam and indian army. You should not be doing anything to provoke a random mixed crowd. A small thing can trigger a nasty fight(s) in the stands. It is a dangerous provocation in the current environment with fans of both India and Pakistan sitting together.
At least MSD pointed the nozzle in the correct direction
I don’t think you’re getting the point. There is a reason why most sporting bodies remove politics and political statements from sports. It interferes with the games and competitions and creates bad feeling. Doesn’t matter if it’s just and fair it’s simply not welcome. If you don't believe the Pakistan POV to be true then why should you be bothered about him waving his hands around?
Penalizing him for this would be seen by most as an implicit acknowledgement of Pakistan's POV
