One day cricket is a different ball game.In test , yes. In Odis that’s not true as we won the wc 2011, Ct 2013, ct 2025 without any champion bowler.

Truly an emotional moment for Babar fans. Even @Mobashir is back.loud cries can be heard everywhere....
Not yet convinced he's back to his best.Rewatched the innings again. So happy for our King. @Major @heddie19 @Ahmed216 @Caved12 @BouncerGuy @Ball Blazer @YousafTheBeast @Dr_Bassim. Needs to kick on now if he is to finish with 35-40 ODI centuries.
Cries of joy at Jalebi Junction in Southall??loud cries can be heard everywhere....
Your making it sound like he scored 100 off 70 ballsBoobsy the king is back with a bang .
Cries of people whose eyes are bleeding since last night's slaughter.Cries of joy at Jalebi Junction in Southall??
It was a pointless bilateral against Sri Lanka,Cries of people whose eyes are bleeding since last night's slaughter.
LOL... Failures are justified against the same teams, but when he scores runs, you come running, making excuses??It was a pointless bilateral against Sri Lanka,
Why are you making it sound like it’s a world war 1 battle in the trenches?
Fakhar and Saim are certified.LOL... Failures are justified against the same teams, but when he scores runs, you come running, making excuses??
Why fakhar could not do the same then?? Saim???
Naseem Shah is more of a proper Batsman than Rizwan too.Babar Azam is a proper batsman unlike the Shaibzadas , Usmans etc etc who are in hack category. Yes Babar has deficiencies he is not the best in the world but for Pakistan team he is an asset and thankfully the mgmt and those in power knew it
I’ve been tormenting these Chapli kebabs for years.RizBar troll - Babar is better than Viv, Anwar, Kohli etc.
RizBar fans - Zzzzzzzzzzz
@Rana - Sharjeel was a proper white ball player.
RizBar fans - *have a complete meltdown*

Let people enjoy these small wins being from a failed state, this is their champion……
Bangladeshi’s didn’t even celebrate Ashraful this much when he smashed McGrath & Gillespie to bits.
Who’s the boss? Tanveer Ahmed? Basit Ali??The boss praises Babar , that's what matters the most
Who’s the boss? Tanveer Ahmed? Basit Ali??
King is on 20. Crazy number. 32 international hundreds. I think he has a realistic chance to get 35 ODI 100s and 55 overall hundreds before he retires but he needs to stay focused and not bother about outside noise. What a hard-fought century, hustling and fighting for every single run. That is the Babar we want to see. Hopefully, the king is back.
Hey @Rana and @mominsaigol Your apology must be louder than the disrespect.![]()
Yes he smashed B team Bhumrah in 2017CTF and 2021WC match. Have some seats. He didn't rely on Afg to end century drought like ChokliNaah joker.
Babar has only scored against B sides of main teams hence his minnowesque record against India whose A team he always plays against in tournaments.
Yes Tenduker 100 100 vs mighty BD match losing being an exampleNah, they have match winning knocks against good teams.
Hypocrisy from you not to factor in that Bobzy doesn't get to play bilaterals like Saeed. Second in Saeed's time India had Kurvalla, Sunil Joshi and Venktesh Parsad bowling LOL!Has he scored a century vs India?
2 of those centuries vs Australia where they were playing the likes of Jason Behrendorff, Nathan Ellis, Adam Zampa, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Sean Abbott, Marnus Labuschagne.
Have some shame.
They just won't accept anything thrown at them... Ignorance is the best policy for themHypocrisy from you not to factor in that Bobzy doesn't get to play bilaterals like Saeed. Second in Saeed's time India had Kurvalla, Sunil Joshi and Venktesh Parsad bowling LOL!
Babar has an ICC trophy win with a performance in the final and is the only captain in history to win a WC match for Pak vs India.
I know it hurts you but by the time Babar is done he will have 35 ODI centuries and will unequivocally be our best batsman of all time.
You have to agree it was a good innings and more so after so many failures and with the big question of when he ll play like this again. It was special just like bobsy the kingYour making it sound like he scored 100 off 70 balls
It is an agenda. We big up mediocre hacks like Sharjeel who brought shame to the country but talk smack about a guy who scored 32 centuries for us,smashed India in a WC and won an ICC trophy against them. They just won't accept anything thrown at them... Ignorance is the best policy for them
Always end up finding a useless excuse.

On Babar Azam's Frustration and Advice Given
* "I met Babar Azam two or three months ago, and we had a long meeting at a coffee shop. He was frustrated that he is misunderstood, and since he doesn't reply, it leads to more speculation. He felt it became very difficult for him to play with his mouth shut."
* "I gave him only one piece of advice then, which he has followed through on, and that is a very good thing: 'Let your bat do the talking.' It is essential that when you are playing, you play with a zip on your mouth."
* "These are young boys. The age of 20 to 30 is a growing age. They have a lot of experience on the field, but overall, to absorb so much and take this kind of 'bullishness' at times becomes very difficult."
On His Batting Style and Team Impact
* "The best thing about Babar Azam is that he has worked with a zip on his mouth. I believe he does not need power-hitting at all. Especially in Test cricket and One-Day cricket, he should not even think about doing anything else."
* "If he plays along the ground, plays with his normal routine, and stays for the full 50 overs, Pakistan will score over 300 every time. He is a technical batsman for difficult pitches."
On Facing Expectations and Pressure
* "When the thought gets into your mind—because people are saying, 'It's been a year, two years, two and a half years, he hasn't scored a century'—it creates a panic in your mind. To find clarity there, to put all these things aside, and to concentrate on the ball and meet expectations..."
* "You see the crowds cheering for him; he is carrying the expectations of millions. And when he doesn't perform, he falls down in the eyes of the fans according to the high bar he has set."
On His Class, Elegance, and Value
* "The way he has scored these centuries has refinement, class, and elegance. His defense is also pleasing to watch."
* "There are very few batsmen in world cricket today who are aesthetically pleasing—meaning they look good while playing, they play beautiful shots, and you enjoy watching them from a technical standpoint."
* "I'm sure many of Babar Azam's fans buy tickets just to watch him score. He is not only a great talent but also a 'medal' for Pakistan."
* "The way he plays, and the way he conducts his ambassadorial role—he has fulfilled that well, because you have to be very careful in public. There is no controversy, and just as straight as his bat comes, he conducts his business off the field too."

Sachin scored that 100 100 when he was 39 years old and he had already won a world cup and his career was over.
At 31 (same age as Babar is now), Sachin was performing magic in every format.
This kind of brain dead examples is why most people (including Rizbar fans) think you are an indian troll. And I have to agree.
"Most people" LOL. I have told all the head nodders here and challenged them where they all run away. Tendu was a great bat but also a statpadder and not a match winner. If that hurts your sensibilities maybe dont post on a Pakisani forum.Sachin scored that 100 100 when he was 39 years old and he had already won a world cup and his career was over.

Dr Sahib tusi hmesha RizBar de jee te kion pai rende ho?The irony of calling Tendulkar a stat padder.
If there is ever a stat padder in Pakistan, its the glorious Rizwan and Babar who even play T20 to statpad their averages!
Dr Sahib tusi hmesha RizBar de jee te kion pai rende ho?
They have had their issues but they have brought glory to the nation as well. Tendu was not a match winner. Only 20 out of his 51 centuries were in wins

Azam e lanka.Nepal E Azam?
Pakistan star batter fined for ICC Code of Conduct breach
Pakistan batting star Babar Azam has been found guilty of a breach during the third ODI against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan’s batting stalwart Babar Azam has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for a Level 1 ICC Code of Conduct breach.
The 31-year-old has been found to have breached Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an International Match.”
In addition, a demerit point has been added to his disciplinary record, making it a first offence for Babar in a 24-month period.
The incident occurred in the 21st over of Pakistan’s innings when Babar hit the stumps with his bat before leaving the crease following his dismissal.
On-field umpires Alex Wharf and Rashid Riaz, third umpire Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid and fourth umpire Faisal Afridi levelled the charge while Ali Naqvi of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees proposed the sanction.
The Pakistan batter admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction, negating the need for a formal hearing.
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 percent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
Pakistan went on to clinch a series sweep over Sri Lanka with Babar playing a lead role with the bat, scoring 165 runs - most in the series - which included a record 20th ODI ton.

I hope he does that every time. That is the only way to get rid off him in T20sHere is the video of this breach... hitting the wickets after getting out... Don't do that Babar

Bro there was a massive agenda for 3-4 years to keep proper T20 openers out of the side so Babar and Rizwan were not exposed like they are being exposed now. Most overrated player of all time.
In T20s, Sahibzada Farhan is nowhere near the finished article but he doesn't need to be because he's so far ahead of Babar, who is garbage.
Would you have him as an opener in your team based on his skills and performances lately on a slow spinning track? I would like to learn from you without FRUITLESS discussion. We can look at things like objectively and sensibly, a quality lost by most posters.
Babar can only bat effectively as an opener and is a perfect foil in a lineup with a destructive middle order. Pakistan do not have an explosive middle order and they won’t naturally have one in the near future, due to the dearth of the such talent.
The hope was that Babar, as a technically gifted batter, would make relevant changes to become an impactful middle order batter. He either hasn’t shown the improvements to do so yet, or he’s just too risk averse to even consistently try.
He’s also got other openers who can do what he does at a quicker rate. Thus he’s not making the team as an opener.
I’d like to see the team specifically ask him to bat at a higher rate at #3 for the next two games and I’d like to see Pakistan bat first in the remaining games.
If there’s no improvement, he shouldn’t make the World Cup squad.
Rizwan is not in the squad, so bringing him up is pointless.
This may sound a stunning concept, but not every aspect of Pakistan cricket needs to become about the RizBabar culture wars.
This forum used to be the place to have reasonable conversation about Pak cricket, however the usual suspects have turned it into an argumentative, tiresome place where everything becomes about RizBabar.
Hopefully they can keep away from here and leave others alone to having fruitful discussions on Pak cricket.
If you’d actually read my post, I’ve clearly stated that other openers get in ahead of him based on a higher strike rate.Would you have him as an opener in your team based on his skills and performances lately on a slow spinning track? I would like to learn from you without FRUITLESS discussion.
So we accept we are a 6th/7th ranked side just to carry him?He can't handle the pressure of being told to upskill and improve his game. He should just bat naturally and if that ends up not being good enough for the team then so be it.

Babar can't even score against Minnows now
Not what he said, was it?So we accept we are a 6th/7th ranked side just to carry him?
Let’s start by blacklisting those who have no business in this format first. Not what he said, was it?
I’d also love to hear the many many other proven middle order options which suddenly make us a top side.
Let’s start by blacklisting those who have no business in this format first.
I’m not playing this stupid game of “name the replacements”!
You people played this rubbish for 4-5 years when Babar and Rizwan were clinging on to the opening spots. That was a HUGE SCAM and Farhan, Saim, Fakhar and InshaAllah Maaz and Khwaja Nafay will prove it as well!
And who are you to ask for replacements in the middle when Babar hasn’t proven anything in the middle himself?
What are you on about?Because when Nafay and Maaz do fail (by being undercooked and not properly developed), you’ll be one of those calling them to be dropped and replaced by mythical non-existent middle order batsmen who you’ve still failed to name
We are carrying an undeserving captain who averages 20 at a SR of 108. But sarrrr what intent sarrrr. Hagga jeeeeeeee yeh match chaiyeeeeeeeeeeeSo we accept we are a 6th/7th ranked side just to carry him?
I’ve never understood this. You are doing this for the greater good? Just so people don’t turn on them. Very nobleBecause when Nafay and Maaz do fail (by being undercooked and not properly developed), you’ll be one of those calling them to be dropped and replaced by mythical non-existent middle order batsmen who you’ve still failed to name.
