Surprised that no thread exists for this guy

In the recently held President's Trophy, Mohammad Rameez was the highest wicket taker with 42 wickets.

He bowls legbreak googly and is aged 28 years old. Surprisingly, this legspinner is not in the PSL

He is the best leg spinner in the country now even though he is just above average by international standards.

Mohammad Rameez Jnr recorded figures of 2/42 against Bangladesh 'A' today in the first four day match in Islamabad while playing for Pakistan Shaheens.

This is 6 months old, but I wanted to post it to show you his action.
It looks like he has quite a repeatable classical leg break action. A couple of rippers, a couple that he got lucky with. He looks decent though.

If the Aussies could make someone like Adam Zampa a match-winner, I don't see why this lad can't be one.

He is worth investing in. But he needs lots of TLC as a leg spinner and even then he may not make it as it's such a difficult art

Well he mostly bowling with a flatter trajectory and not getting much spin similar to Zahid. If he somehow starts getting more spin he could be a very good option for Pakistan in Test cricket.

With no spin talent in the country i thought this lad could be invested and backed. Mushtaq Ahmed should coach him

What happened to zahid? Guy has vanished

Well it is quite saddening to know that two best possible replacements for Yasir Shah ie Muhammad Rameez Jnr & Arif Yaqoob have failed fitness Test hence are not playing Champions One Day Cup.

Ridiculous on part of the players aswell as PCB because both just recently represented Pakistan A/Pakistan Shaheen team and also performed well.

Rameez is definitely a good prospect for Test Cricket while Arif could be a good limited overs option.

He's a real "wrist" spinner.

First time I've seen a wrist spinner since Yasir Shah actually putting wrist and revs behind the ball. Getting big turn. He was impressive in the last Champions T20 game.

Another wrist spinner that was impressive in recent past was Arif Yaqoob. The Ace for Babar Azam in the PSL. Wonder why is he not playing in this competition.

Lots to like but run up is too short and gives him nothing. Just needs another 2m and we could have a real bowler on our hands

Mohammad Rameez Jnr (3/40) delivered a strong bowling performance on Day 1 of the three-day warm-up match against the West Indies, taking crucial wickets of top-order batters.

ANother leggie who is doing well since Shadab's exit... Faisal, sufiyan and now ramiz.

Good stuff

Ghani Glass' Mohammad Rameez jr. took his 7th 5-fer in First-Class cricket against PTV on Day 2 of fifth round of President's Trophy 2025

He now has 72 wickets in this format having bowled in just 25 innings.
