[PICTURES] The enigma called Ahmed Shehzad - Why did his career not take off?

Ahmed Shehzad strongly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its management for placing him in the local category of the PSL 10 draft, voicing his discontent on his YouTube channel:

"PSL 10 is going to happen, and the interesting thing about it is that I am also playing. For the last three or four days, it seems like I am part of PSL. Are you happy now with the hype? Why don't you talk about those players for whom you have set everything aside in the last four to five years?"

"You all know that I have already announced my retirement. There are such blind and foolish people sitting in the PCB who can’t see that they use players to create hype by presenting them as good or bad in the market, just to gain pre-hype for their product. These are the kinds of people they have appointed."

"On a serious note, I want to address the misunderstanding among my fans and some others who think that I have withdrawn my retirement for the PSL and that I am available for PSL 10."

"People think I’ve changed my stance and the position I took against the PCB and Pakistan cricket, especially regarding the disregard for merit and the issues faced by domestic players. Let me clarify—that’s not true."

"My decision to leave the PSL stems from the absence of merit and the prioritization of connections over genuine talent."

"Neither I nor my agent have submitted my name for the PSL 10 draft. The names of local players in the draft are added by the PCB, and they are the ones who decide the categories."

"I am not available for PSL 10, and I don’t want to play in it. They have included my name in the draft purely for false, cheap publicity and to generate pre-hype."

Ahmed Shehzad during a conversation on a podcast show:

“Being good-looking has cost me a lot. In our field, if you look good, know how to dress, and speak well, senior and former players start getting jealous."

"I didn't know this before. I've been playing cricket since childhood, and I never thought people would judge you for things like looking good. You end up making enemies in places you can't even imagine."

Hard to believe this massive clown and loser keeps getting a platform to run his mouth.

A trash player with a trash mouth.

Ahmed Shehzad during a conversation on a podcast show:

"I have become the most targeted since I started reporting suspicious activities. I can only say this much: I started with the PSL, and then it started increasing, even within the Pakistan team."

"People ask me, 'Why don’t you go and play some league?' The first thing is that I’m really busy with my foundation, from morning to evening—it’s not an easy thing. And I know what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. I will put all my energy into this foundation; this is my primary aim."

"I used to have contracts; this time, I didn’t have one in the BPL. Last time, I went to play in the Bangladesh Premier League, played a match, scored some runs. After that, I got some offers, which seemed suspicious, so I reported them, as you're supposed to. And the next year, I was out of the tournament."

"The same thing happened in Sri Lanka. I didn’t play the first match, didn’t play the second match, but I played the third match. The pitch was difficult, I scored 60+ runs, then I was offered something, and I informed the PCB, including Colonel Usman, and it’s on record."

"I also informed the ICC, and then I got dropped from all the following matches. So, tell me, should I have done all those things? Did I make a mistake by reporting? What should I do now? It feels like what I did to stay right has now turned against me in life."

"When you find out a lot of things and you're not a part of it, and you don’t mingle with them, don’t entertain them, and don’t get involved with them, then you become dangerous to them."

"They don’t want to see you with their players, and those whose team it is, they don’t want to see you either. Since I started reporting suspicious activities, I've noticed that one by one, platforms started approaching me in my life."

Probably, Ahmed Shehzad said this in reference to it – so now it's up to you to decide

Ahmed Shehzad finally opens up about comparisons with Virat Kohli during a conversation with an Indian media outlet:

"As far as looks are concerned, it is fine, but comparing me with him in terms of game would have been wrong. No one can be compared with Kohli. He is a legend of this game. He has entertained people all over the world with his batting."

"The kind of life he lives, the way he eats and drinks, show someone doing that. Despite so much performance, the amount of criticism he is subjected to, show someone being as professional as he is. There is no comparison to him."

Definitely, cricket career is over working as cricket analyst and a philanthropist

Great work by him and all the best .

I particularly like his comments on state of cricket in Pakistan on different channels . He is one of very few cricketers who are not afraid of PCB and its bosses while giving their honest opinion . We can't say the same for cricketers like Wasim ,Waqar, Amer Sohail , Rashid and many others.

AS PER REPORTS:

Cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has found himself in legal trouble after repeatedly making allegations against a former Pakistan captain. Media reports indicate that authorities have initiated proceedings under cybercrime laws following Shehzad’s recent remarks, which included claims about a player’s exclusion from the national team. The persistence of these comments reportedly triggered a formal complaint, leading to the start of an inquiry.

Shehzad has been summoned to Lahore for questioning, where officials will review his explanation before deciding whether to register a formal case. A source close to the former captain explained that while cricket discussions are acceptable, repeated allegations risk damaging reputations, making legal action necessary.

Good, make him squirm, watch this guy back track on everything now. Has been very toxic and extremely unprofessional in all of his analysis.

Man is turning into Wasay and Habib but with better looks and English

Misbah. I read this news as well. .. if this is true than well- done to Misbah.

Har koi aera gera Pakistan main Misbah ko blame karta hai ,.. chahe uska koi lena dena hi ni ho .

:kp

Misbah is a true gentleman and humble person and he never makes any controversial comments but people make him the villain of Pakistan cricket... Now he needs to expose everyone... Enough.
:kp

It wont be a trial. First case will go to cyber crime. After that a chance would be given for Shezad to beg for forgiveness, which he would do, as he once started crying on national tv lol.

I hope Shezad becomes stubborn, and a formal complain gets filed. I think FIA deals with cyber crime.

If this moves to a formal complain or if Shezad apologizes, alot of our ex cricketers will tow the line after this, and will hopefully not make up remarks again.

So what exactly triggered the weak minded Misbah ?

Is he getting bored of interfering with PCB matters & PCT.

If so, job well done Shehzad.

Im not sure if FIAs cybercrime can register a FIR, and thats what can lead Shezad to much deeper trouble. A FIR registered, is added against your criminal record. Thus, whenever applying for any govt job, you need to submit a character certificate.

Shezad may have destroyed his cricketing career. Even Umar Akmal hasnt been this stupid. He officially tops Umar Akmal in stupidity.

Misbah is the same clown that saw the PM of Pakistan in a Polo Shirt, what a dangar!

I bet he will show up in court in his Pyjamas!

Trouble in the sub continent is these cases never lead to anything.
