Needs to work on his run-up and seam. His run-up is laboured and if sorted will make his action more smoother and consistent. I am a little worried about his seam but we have a real talent on our hands.

You were also worried about Shaheen's seam position and look how that turned out
I still am- I want to be proved wrong but a left armer will find it difficult to take wickets of good right handers without a good seam. Hopefully I am wrong, but the jury is still out.
Wahab preferred over him in 2nd ODI - fair?
wahab is concentrating on white ball cricket so i dnt mind him playing but shinwari is bowling at 80mphs here..need better than that
Misbah speaking to the media today:
"Musa and Naseem are playing FC cricket, they are fit enough for 4-day and Test cricket. Hasnain's fitness and conditioning towards the longer format, based on what the physio and trainer have told us: we need to work on him after the Australia tour and build him up gradually towards bowling 12, 14, 16 overs, even before playing FC cricket. According to the physio, if we put him in FC cricket before readying him, he can get a long-term injury after playing 1-2 matches. After the Australia tour, he will come back and do some work for 4-6 weeks and gradually he will become fitter for the longer format"
Yet this lad was taken to the World Cup.
Why do we play with the careers of our cricketers and then we wonder why they have serious injuries.
A bit lethargic today. Seemed to be a bit out of sorts.
Some run-up issues again.
Pace was down a bit as well.
Fitness seems to be an issue too.
He has actually regressed badly in the past 2 years. His pace and energy looks down and his skills with the ball have not developed either.
Misbah and Waqar complained he lacked the fitness to bowl long spells and they wanted to work on that, can't tell what work has been done on that front. Can't see what Waqar has done to improve anything.
This guy is one of thr most improved bowler in the team.
Good to see him learning.
You think he makes it to the test team?

He would have made it difficult for the NZL in tests. With his height can extract bounce depending on the pitch it might be uneven as well + pace + moves the ball . Difficult bowler to face in tests if line and length is good because he has pace and bounce. The management has thrown him to Shaheens and keeps Sohail Khan instead.
Misbah and his tactics are simply
I have a lot of time for him. He gets on with the job.
Has made impact in big ticket finals.
Is hard to get away. Learning all the time.
People were wrong to judge him on early erratic performances but right to send him back to domestics.
However, real tests are to come. ODIs and Tests in due time. He should earn his way into tests.
Waqar is best in terms of developing players but worse in terms of tactics and management. And some credit where it's due for Waqar Younis who has put in a lot of work with Hasnain.
Hasnain is getting better, but he has yet to have that breakthrough match or series where he stamps his mark upon the world. I think he just needs the confidence at this stage, that he has that x factor and he should just keep working as hard as possible.
There was a time period between the PSL 4 final and the CPL stint that he was the hottest commodity during.
