[PICTURES/VIDEOS] How long before the patience runs out with Mohammad Haris?

Does Mohammad Haris deserve any longer rope?

Which proves that it is about likes and dislikes for you. You are agenda driven, and that is why your views cannot be taken seriously.
Indeed.

I identify my players. I identify my goals. I back them to the very end. If there are better players than the ones who I backed for the same goal, then I will back those players to the grave.

There is a process. I will always trust the process.

Harris’s 20 odd against SA was a landmark innings

It was the innings that actually opened the eyes of brainwashed Pakistan cricket fans to show them,

‘yes, you do have players that can help you compete at world standards! Unlike the lie sold to us by RizBar or agencies’!

Thank you Harris!

I didn’t get the chance to watch the game live. I tried to catch a bit on my phone but got busy and ended up missing most of it, especially Haris’s batting. I just watched the highlights and noticed that Haris seemed to take his time to settle in, though I’m not even sure if that was the case. Maybe he was just swinging his bat and not connecting. Ideally, though, a batter who is struggling should take a bit of time to get their eye in before looking to accelerate later.

An inconsistent player never allows the captain to plan properly or know what to expect, regardless of the format. A lot of people go on and on about strike rates, modern cricket, and so on, but at the end of the day, cricket is simple: you play according to the situation, the pitch, the ground conditions, and the strengths of your team, then strategize accordingly.

I really hope Haris can carry this kind of performance into the game against India on Sunday, that’s the match I’d love to see Pakistan win. But at the same time, I have to say that Haris often plays low percentage shots. Sometimes they come off, but other times they don’t. A player like Haris can never truly be trusted. From what I see, he plays those “tullaybaaz” shots that simply don’t succeed consistently.

If he proves me wrong, I’ll take my hat off to him. But until he does, I’ll continue to believe that Haris will remain a hit or miss player. Today was just against Oman, anyone can score runs against a team like that. Especially for someone who has failed so often recently, it was only a matter of time before some runs came. Consistency, however, is what truly matters in cricket. That’s what helps a team succeed over the long run.

I’m sorry, but this is how I see it.

20 odd is a landmark innings and opened eyes of the fans 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pakistani cricket fans in 2025, ladies and gentlemen. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And please, no need to tag me in every second thread asking me the same question over and over. You can, of course, there’s nothing I can do about it, but it’s just childish. The better approach would be to try and act like an adult, even if that doesn’t come naturally to you.

What you can do is post responsibly

Not make up stuff like you did with Bishop.

Well performances against Oman are the standard now???

good for haris that he scored runs after like 13 games but really??? OMAN???

I watched the game. Babar would’ve had no chance as he can’t play spin to save his life and also because he has no power game.

Haris may a have a long way to go before he can seal his spot but give him some credit. No one else was able to score even half of the number of runs he scored in the game.

It was a match winning innings that was well beyond the Babar’s capability.

Stick to cricket and stop crying. Babar and Rizwan are not coming back to the side any time soon.

I don't recall Babar hitting that many sixes to a spinner in Dubai

Exactly. It’s very disappointing to read comments from agenda driven postees who will downplay this innings simply because he replaced one of their favourites.

He scored 66 off 44 balls. If it’s that easy then why was no one else from both sides able to cross 30?

Pakistani batting was definitely underwhelming in that game but if there was one player who was not with the bat, it was Haris.

Targeting him again means you have an agenda in mind.

I don't even bother to reply to trolls anymore. I recently learned about another troll. The more you give attention to these guys, the more they will get back at you.

Don’t think Haris can hit like this against a proper spinner. He was literally playing at lowest difficulty level in terms of quality of opposition.
He tried exactly same shots in recent matches. But it didn't pan out as expected. Even the one he slog sweeps here he didn't pick the ball that left him. Ball didn't have enough revs. It was floaty.

The quality of bowlers was one factor. He won't be facing such bowling against the top teams yet his chances of succeeding will be a lot lower.

I think he should be nominated for the Pride of Performance national award and inducted in the PCB HOF for this historic performance.

A half-century vs Oman after failing for 10 straight matches. Who can dream of doing that.
Agreed - see you can talk sense at times

💯- I was like wow, we do have players who follow the modern game.

This is also why give him so much rope. His schooling of the stat padders in this tournament was legendary.

It doesn’t get easier than Oman.

Everybody knew another flash in the pan performance was coming against the weak teams. It didn’t come against UAE but it came against Oman.

Folks hyping this performance up have got no clue.

You still need skill to hit a 43 year old with zero first class experience for six.

I think the underlying message from me is babar and riz ain’t coming back. Cry more, keep crying.
