He will become Pajama league mercenary like other high potential pace bowlers and never amount to anything in red ball cricket.Yea bro. This pace attack should win the World Cup and the Test series in Australia for Pakkstan. This Ihsanullah is extremely gifted. 150 kph with ease.
People adding 5 even 8 years, so the physiognomists what makes you think he's not 20 but 25 and even 28 ? Something to do with wrinkles? Or perhaps the hairline ?
I mean as per his PCB profile he played for FATA U-16, you can perhaps lie about 2-3 years max at this level, but I struggle to see how someone can play with 5-8 years at this stage, if you've ever been a teenager (I'm sure you did), there's a huge physiognomical difference happening between the age of 13-16 that you detect easily.
Also he's Pathan so perhaps that's why he looks more mature.
Why worry about his age?
What's this fascination whenever any new talent emerges from Pakistan?

Looks like he could play all formats and do well.
I just hope he and the PCB focus on Test cricket with him.

Another hypefest.
Please stop hyping players unless they consistently win you pressure matches.
Exactly.
Why be optimistic about a young players prospects when you can be a member of the fun police, eh
MashAllah, that’s great. And unlike the others, he has height on his side.
He gets extra Zip due to his snapping of his wrists he can definitely be a prospect in the longer format.
His fielding was that off club level and also dropped a catch needs massive improvement in this aspect.

None of these lads have the stomach for Test cricket, neither do they seem interested in playing it anymore. The amount of FC cricket these bowlers have played in their careers, they should never be selected for the Test team in the ideal world as you can never substitute experience for raw talent when it comes to Test cricket. They are all soda bottles. They make a loud pop and then there is nothing inside.
All Pakistani fake fast bowlers (except Shaheen) have fizz for 4 over T20 spells only.
Naseem is one of the worst fast bowlers in history of Test cricket, Rauf chickened out of Test cricket after 1 Test, Hasnain and Dahani don’t have what it takes to play Test cricket either.
I don’t know anything about this Zamir guy but he will probably be another soda bottle.
Shami at 36-37 (real age) is still a miles better Test bowler than all Pakistani soda bottles.

Yes Pakistan cricket is doing well isn't it.....

Our poor cricket system and an appalling, unprofessional cricketing culture has wasted 100s of good cricketers. Will he be any different, well time will tell but when you have criminals like Sethi in charge, that ain't about to change
Its the way county coaches coach young fast bowlers. It adds miles and zip to the ball
Maybe he is a natural or he just saw it on TV and copied it.So who's coached Ihsanullah ?
We are producing 4 over champion bowlers.
We need to produce more bowlers who can take wickets in Test cricket and have the skills and stamina to bowl 15 to 20 overs a day.

Terrible fielder btw

Test cricket is finished in Pakistan, the fans don't care for it and neither do the players.
If these new lads can bowl for 4 overs then that's good enough for me.

Its stupid to think the likes of Naseem, Hasnain and Dahani can bowl in Test cricket, when they hardly play any meaningful first class cricket at home. A test-class bowler needs to put in the hard yards before he learns how to bowl long spells, these lads are running after money and only interested in playing pyjama leagues. We are producing 4 over champion bowlers.

Mohammad Haris on facing Ihsanullah (said in a jesty manner)
“The way ball was coming onto my bat, Ihsanullah is lucky to escape. I understand him since I have kept wickets to him. We play together in KPK team, so I had an idea what he would bowl next. I had planned for him, but unfortunately I was only able to face two deliveries from him"
This pic puts his age in to prospective looks really fresh faced compared to Babar and Riz. Somewhere 22-23 looks the correct age.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">A day to remember for Ihsanullah - takes the wicket of the Pakistan skipper and then gets the chance to have his picture taken with him <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/PSL8?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#PSL8</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/MSvPZ?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#MSvPZ</a> <a href="https://t.co/Hv5FGVcSvu">pic.twitter.com/Hv5FGVcSvu</a></p>— Saj Sadiq (@SajSadiqCricket) <a href="https://twitter.com/SajSadiqCricket/status/1626661439942320132?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 17, 2023</a></blockquote>

10 wickets in 3 matches so far at the PSL.
Clearly a very good T20 bowler, however I want to see if he can become a good Test bowler.

Yeah boi!
Fire with Fire mentality!!
Well then don’t expect these bowlers to be any good in Test cricket. It’s just absolute nonsense to even think these bowlers, who have played way more T20 cricket than they will ever play first-class cricket, have any idea how to bowl to world class Test players. That is the state of cricket these days so there's nothing wrong in players running after leagues. Money is important in a cricketer's life, more so in a Pakistani. There's no incentive to play Test matches and pick up a couple of thousand dollars per match when you can earn $100,000 or by playing 20-30 franchise cricket matches.
The incentive of legacy and recognition by playing Test cricket no longer holds any merit when you compare to the money that is being offered in T20 these days.
He is around 25/26 which is still young
