CSK will score around 170.

Should be an easy win for SRH if they don't choke like usual. Wicket seems to be on the slower side. Nothing for pacers or spinners.

I doubt India will drop Hardik. He is the only pace bowling all rounder India has. Dube does not bowl. So it has to be a pure batsman that will get dropped.
Hardik needs to get his batting in order again. Bowling is fine but WI and US pitches may need spinners more.

IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings
The incident happened in the 19th over of the CKS innings as Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a perfect yorker as Ravindra Jadeja tried to come forward and heave it away. The CSK all-rounder only managed to hit it back to the bowler.

As Jadeja was well out of his crease, Bhuvneshwar tried to get him run out with a shy at the stumps but Jadeja turned back and got hit on the spine.

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their second win of the season with a 6-wicket triumph over Chennai Super Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad on Friday.

SRH won the toss and opted to field first as they managed to limit CSK to 164/5 in 20 overs as the Hyderabad bowling unit chipped in with five different bowlers picking up a wicket each.

The hosts got off to a breakneck start as Abhishek Sharma made a quickfire 37 off just 12 deliveries, while Travis Head chipped in with a 31-run contribution before Aiden Markram scaled the half-century mark to put SRH in pole position. Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Reddy remained unbeaten as SRH crossed the finish line with 11 deliveries to spare.

As per reports, Wanindu Hasaranga will not participate in IPL 2024. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has informed BCCI that the leg-spinner is injured and cannot take part in the league for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. Last heard, the franchise is believed to be looking for a replacement.

Man books ₹4,500 ticket to watch SRH vs CSK IPL match, finds his seat is missing: ‘Bro, what's this scam’

A fan’s post on his “missing seat” at the stadium during Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings, which took place on April 5, has gone viral. Taking to X, Junaid Ahmed wrote that when he reached the venue to take his place, he found that his seat was not where it was supposed to be.

“Disappointed that I’ve booked a ticket and seat number was J66 in Stand. Sorry state that the seat doesn’t exist and I had to stand and enjoy the game. Do I get a refund and compensation for this?” he tweeted, along with some visuals.

A video Ahmed shared shows him reaching the space where his designated seat, J66, is supposed to be. He assumes it will be after seat J65, but to his surprise, he finds the seat number is J77. He also shared a closeup of the seats to show his missing seat number.

One of the pictures he shared shows his ticket of ₹4,500 for seat number J66 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings on April 5. The third picture shows him standing and watching the match.

Later, he shared a follow-up tweet and posted, “The missing seat was found in the innings break, between J69-70! Someone mixed it up.” He wrapped up the share with a picture.

Yet another poor start for RCB.

Kohli and Faf are too slow to be openers. They should not bat together.

Probably its a rare case of combination 1st wicket partnership (Kohli & Faf), boosted by cameos by Maxwell/DK + Siraj coming will a dream spell. A rare win for RCB? Maybe not! RR has the batting to chase even 200+ (RCB may sometimes end way below 180 anyhow, somehow)

Kohli doesn't suit to RCB team. He fits very well to CSK team, he can replace Rahane at No.3 and do much better than him & more consistent... RCB needs a Gayle kind of opener and proper bowling unit to have any chance in IPL moving further...

RCB doing RCB things... Maxwell will be RCB kind of player here... If he moves to CSK he will play like Shane Watson & win a cup for them!

Glenn Maxwell's poor run continues as he departs for 1, shortly after Faf du Plessis.

Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis added 125 runs for the first wicket, the second best against RR in Jaipur

Thats his limitations as he approaches 100 and the death over pressure comes...

As I tell again Kohli fits to a team with a strong bowling unit OR smart/lucky captain like Dhoni... At least 15-20 runs short RCB...

As usual, rubbish death overs batting from RCB. Green and Maxi aren't even making contact with the bat. LOL.
They have paid millions to both. :ROFLMAO:

Most Centuries in IPL

8 - Virat Kohli*

6 - Chris Gayle

5 - Jos Buttler

4 - David Warner

4 - Shane Watson

4 - KL Rahul

100 in 11 overs

Finish the innings with 183

Poor by RCB I recon

Recon Rajasthan will chase this down

This is what happens when you have RizBar type openers. Below par score

Innings Break:

A classy century from Virat Kohli (113* off 72) as RCB score 183/3 in 20 overs.

RR should chase this. RCB bowling cannot defend anything.

Jaiswal and Parag to score 50’s hopefully.

This is the problem when players slow down to play for milestones rather than going hard every ball. It costs the team 20-30 runs in the end. Even Sanjay Manjrekar commented RCBs problem in the death overs vs other IPL sides is that one batter hits a six and then it is accompanied by 4-5 singles. They don't score those 20-25 runs overs and that hurts them because they already have a weak bowling line up.

I'm watching Jaiswal for first time after his epic test series against England.

..
.

And he gets out as I was typing this. :anwar

Samson making a case for the WK spot in the Indian T20 squad. At the moment he is better than Pant, Jurel, Kishan who are competing for that spot.

Another embarrassing loss coming up for RCB. That 185 total was simply not enough on this pitch considering RCB's bowling is rubbish.

RCB's formula of lumping big names of batting world with trundlers to defend those totals will never work. Whoever is in charge of squad selections must be fired.
