Shastri mince no words about kicking out oldies lol HOpefully selectors and team management is on the same page. Can't carry the same oldies. I was so disappointed to see them include Rohit and made him captain.

Salty post lol Cheerleaders have been around since the beginning of the IPL season 2008. NO incident reported. I am sure there won't be any security necessary.

India is a country of 1.5 billion people and women security in some remote places are an issue. However, women in India in general are much westernized and liberated compared to our western neighbour. Hence cheerleaders have always been consistent in IPL

With some disciplined bowling and timely wickets, the GT pacers managed to steal a win for the hosts, ensuring Mumbai Indians' losing streak in opening IPL matches continues.
 
Few verified Twitter accounts have posted that bumrah and rohit were making fun of pandya, after pandya had a discussion with rohit .seems we are going in pak 90's captaincy route.
 

IPL 2024 Schedule - Final in Chepauk; Chennai, Ahmedabad to host playoffs​


The wait is over as the BCCI has announced the complete schedule of IPL 2024 on Monday (March 25), having announced the first leg of it till April 7 earlier. Per the latest announcement, Chennai and Ahmedabad are allotted the playoffs, with the final schedule in Chepauk on May 26. While the Narendra Modi Stadium will host the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator on May 21 and 22, respectively, Chepauk will host the Qualifier 2 and the summit clash.

He was an Ex-Indian Star batsman and played for India for more than a decade. He had many great moments opening for India and has strong fan following. He is a Punjabi and would be a great mascot for Punjab Kings. He will play for another 2 or 3 years in IPL.

That was some poor death bowling by Punjab kings, no one consistently bowled full blooded yorkers on the off, middle stump or just outside off stump. Too much short predictable stuff. They should have successfully closed out the game once Kohli went.
 
Watching the IPL in detail for the first time since 2008.

The Stadiums the BCCI and the Franchises have in place are absolutely world class. The Franchises themselves truly own the stadiums and do everything in their power to drive their fans to the stadiums and fan parks. The quality of the sound systems is also second to none where you can hear the music inspite of 100k people in the stadium roaring.

Granted the female cheerleader's might be a problem for the PCB but they could look into it without offending local cultural sensitivities. Surely they can arrange for male break back dancers to entertain the crowd. The PCB and the PSL is stagnating and not doing enough to keep the crowd engaged and entertained. Granted the PCB and the PSL franchises will not have the Budget that the BCCI and the IPL Franchises have but surely they can arrange for some of these things within the budgets they have or find sponsors to fund some of these things.
