Babar was the captain of Peshawar Zalmi after he failed as a captain in International. He couldn't even win PSL yet miraculously he gets to be made captain again and Mamoon who's from Peshawar made this nonsense astronomical prediction that is humanely impossible to predict when everyone else predicted rizwan or shaheen?

This is such a false equivalence fallacy I always wonder if you can actually comment this with a straight face.

No tournament is the same. Each tournament is played on a different pitch, with different team strengths for example teams like Afghanistan, India and Australia are a 100x stronger now then they were in 2022 etc.

It's not a simple matter of, last time with said ingredients we made final so adding these 2 now ruins the batch.

Even the tournament format is different with super 8 being added.

Case in point, Pakistan were never ever going to reach Finals with such a meak middle order and weak bowlers. The inclusion of Amir and imad wasn't going to change anything.

First of in 2021 and 2022 the tournament was a shortened format and it was covid era, Alot of sides got injured and didn't play full strength.

2022 Australia was a burnt corpse of a side, India had half their side injured with even Bumrah being out of commission for nearly 2 years.

Secondly to qualify you just needed to top your group to get into semi's and Pakistan was fortunate to not deal with most if not all of SENA before semi's, Ontop of which rain affetected sa vs Zimbabwe and rain helping Pakistan against sa played a huge role.

Lastly the bowling in 2022 is what carried us through and through, and to be fair to Shan and Haris, Their infinitely better at 3 and 4 then usman khan and Fakhar.

Fakhar is not a no 4 plain and simple and this WC proved it.

2024 WC squad was the weakest Pakistan ever sent in its entirety with corpse bowlers, non existent mo and babar and rizwan failing at the top as usual.

As for imad and amir, very easy to scapegoat them and avoid others, Who told shaheen to drop Jones of Amir, who told babar to play like a snail in Dallas, who told rizwan to cross bat against Bumrah etc etc.

biggest culprit of usa was babar for his innings, Poor captaincy and not even showing his face in SO and not bowling naseem who was the best bowler.
