This is the reason why Amir the spineless coward retired, he didn’t want to bend his back on these wickets. He is sitting pretty at home now isn’t he? the quitter don’t want this work.

Guys like Wahab Riaz or even Asif would have killed to be in his position and would be more up for bowling on these wickets.

I think we, as Pakistanis, do have a tendency to be very self critical. Yes it is an atrocious pitch but we aren't the only test playing nation to have produced a pitch like this. Evidence suggests it is a one-off. Let's hope the pitches for Karachi and Lahore are much better,

You have to make a special effort t make dead wicket like this in Pindi in this weather . I spent few years of my life in Pindi. Having played club cricket in Lahore on mostly flat wickets and many cemented wickets , I found almost all the wickets in Pindi very lively ,including Pindi club, 501 WS, COD wickets, KRL ground, Asghar Mall college ground wickets, all had something for fast bowlers. Weather and soil in Pindi-Islamabad is very suitable for lively tracks, particularly in spring . But somehow, this coward administration managed to produce this killer of test cricket wickets.

The aus employ drop-in pitches because their grouds are multi-purpose as they play footie ie aussies rules football on the same grounds all across aus. N they have a long season. Plus u have concerts etc on a regular basis.
So it becomes some wt tricky to maintain the square n produce pitches to their liking.

Now Pakistani grounds r utilized for no other purpose but cricket.

So there is no need for drop in pitches.
Or maybe its a paisa Kahane ke scheme n this pindi pitch was prepared such to fail so theirs no opposition to drop in pitches.
