If this is true PTI is gonna suffer. I hope youth comes out later

Dunya News reporting very high turn out from polling stations in Lahore. But this issue of perrchi is getting worse and the process is really slow

If it stays like this, it will be a disaster for the PTI.

But also consider this: https://www.indexmundi.com/pakistan/age_structure.html

Most of the population of Pakistan is of that age group, so that is expected. :)

And plus, 28% is nearly a third. Also, youth sleeps long toh araam se uth ke jayengay. :ahmed

People feel that their vote doesn’t count but if 500 people from a constituency feel the same way,it could make a difference.People need to vote.

Btw, which idiot started this Phool thing?

Guys, these people literally throw the flower away because the idiots who started it and are bringing Phool don't realise that they're on duty, and can't exactly keep flowers anywhere.

The best way to support Army is to not create Drama involving them, and being respectful

These are just photo ops. Don’t take it too seriously.

The bigger thing is no turnout among the older people. Iirc, that's the age group most likely to support PML-N and PPP.

Trying to convince my Noon League friend to write Ro Imran Ro on top of voting paper. He wants to write a message of support to Nawaz.

That'll work too tbh ;)

I am getting more and more negative...

People are acting like it's now or never. These 5 years have shown that courts are getting stronger and even if PML-N gets in, their won't be corruption at the levels there once was.

There will be hell to pay for MQM if they support PML-N for a coalition over PTI. That means PTI, regardless of results, will have support of around 15 seats in Karachi.

Every single family member that's voted MQM wants a PTI government in Federal, and that's also true for most of the UC In-charges. That means that even if MQM gets seats from Karachi (Very likely), they won't dare support PML-N unless Imran has no chance of government.

I like the question mark in the end. I mean I lost track of the real question.

I will also add that PPP would also commit political suicide if they sided with PML-N. PTI may not want their support, but they will know that the last thing they'll support is PML-N. It's bad enough that they're painted as corrupt anyway, allying with their sworn enemy and EVIL PUNJABI NOON LEAGUE will wreck their base in Sindh as well. They will not support PTI either, but definitely not PML-N

MMA is led by Fazlu, but after elections, JI will not support PML-N.

Lol @ this woman. How many of you have seen the PTI slips they give? It doesn't even have any indication that it's PTI. In our area, MQM and PTI staff were sending us to each other's camp when the other was on break, that's how much it mattered. MQM wale had nashta first, and people were getting their numbers from PTI camp, then PTI wale had Nashta, and people got their block numbers from MQM camp.

Only 33% voter turnout and we are half-way done with the elections. That’s just disappointing.

If 20-30% more turn up over the next half, which is quite possible, then it'll be decent. You really cannot expect more tbh. Also, keep in mind that some stations opened late and wlll be running even after 6 PM.

That is good; even another 17% more will be good news for PTI :) I would take 55%.

Btw, Altoo asked for a boycott to embarrass MQM-Pakistan for splitting with him.

Turnout is likely higher than last time :))

Altaf's power is broken, even if MQM wins.

And finally it's done :) Just came back.

Everything went smooth, it took me hardly 5 minutes. Good job done by ECP this time.

Guys we are heading for a 55 to 60% turnout at this rate.

This will be brilliant.
Over the past few days, the media have an impression that turnout will be low, so I was originally happy with 55%. Looking at the way things are going now, 60%+ is on the cards.

I just think that the ECP is like a rabbit caught in the headlights. We needed more polling stations, to increase the voter turn. I can imagine that it is very frustrating for the young lot to stand in cueues for so long. Similarly it would be harder for the older generation to withstand the harsher conditions.

33% between 8 to 1, when people wake up late, don't go early, means 65% should be the minimum it should end on. Let's see.

Go and talk to Presiding Officer if you're bringing an older relative along. They get priority and get to vote first. One person over 70 came in and was taken straight for voting.

Guess dont be disappointed by Turn out, trust me it's going to increase after 3PM.

Yeah man, and the % of youth will increase too.

We just need to make sure there's no dhaandli/voting on gunpoint, and especially no dhaandli at night. And then nothing can stop PTI, InshaAllah.

There won't be any. I just came back from polling station and i saw Army Jawans there. So this time no police is invovled :) Hope for the good.

Alhamdulillah!!!

I remember Mian mentioning that he fears his votes landed in the right place, but it's absolutely fantastic to hear this from you.

:pkflag

Heavy rains in Gujrat, Gujranwala and Narowal means less voter turn out there so far.

One thing is very clear to me....massive turnout in Karachi shows that Altaf Hussain has been rejected!

Exactly. He asked for a boycott, that hasn't happened. This MQM now is not Altaf's, whatever the result, Altaf has been rejected.

Just one thing to note, 2013 turnout was real votes and dhandli votes. This time, rigging is very low, so the turnout reflects real votes!
