Wow. If there is ever an example next to the word electable in the Oxford dictionary, it is going to be Tahir Sadiq. Guy polled a heck of a lot of votes (got 60k+ on PP seat as well). Now I see why PTI was so accommodating to him.

Shahbaz did 2 huge jalsas in Gujranwala 2-3 days before elections, i guess that helped N league in the end. N league had way too strong and entrenched candidates in Gujranwala.

I felt more like I did during the Indian innings of CT17 final. Every PTI seat was that Kohli catch over and over again, meanwhile PMLN wins were like Pandya's sixes.

No one is going to give a chance. The procedure is simple. There will be an election in Assembly for CM/leader of the house, whoever gains more votes will be declared CM and will form government.

As i mentioned earlier he is the biggest electable of Attock District with votebank and influence in all 6 Tehsils of Attock. Because of him we won 6 out of 7 Attock seats only lost 1 PP in a close fight but we all knew we are going to lose that PP seat because of late Punjab Minister Shaheed Khanzada votebank there.

Just calculated the numbers Major (R) Tahir Sadiq alone ended up with 371k votes on 2 NA and 1 PP seats ended up winning every seat where he was contesting i think he is second only to Imran Khan himself by the number of votes and number of seats in GE2018?

NA-56: 163k

NA-55: 145k

PP-3: 62k

There are lot similarities between 87 wc, 92 wc and GE13, GE18 . Imran had cornered tiger tshirt actually for 87 WC and we were fav but lost in Semi final so he had to wait 5 more years to wear that shirt in 92 wc final

Definitely, yes on number of votes. On the number of seats, he is tied with our boy GSK who reached the crescendo of his 28-year, and often one-sided, rivalry with Ch Nisar yesterday. What a moment for him.

We were all sad and shocked to learn of the result.

Apparently alot of women in the villages that we know stamped on the pen which they mistook for the Bat!!!!

The pen was the symbol of an independent candidate but they said they thought it was a bat as it looked similar!!

Interestingly both GSK and Major Tahir are from same Khattar tribe and their constituencies are bordering with each other. Major and GSK both are anti Ch Nisar and Sohail Kamrial when he was in PTI supported Ch Nisar group in Local Government elections although PTI was supporting Major Group to get District Mayor seat.

Feeling sorry for Kamrial but he had it coming this time again runner up with 99k votes. This is his 4th consecutive election as runner up and i don't think he will be able to become MNA even in 2023 because Major is again the King of Attock now (this time more powerful) and in next 5 years he will make sure to end Sheikh Aftab and Sohail Kamrial's political careers.

Yeah, 111 was very close. 112 was a good fight. Thankfully we won 113, otherwise CS would have been inconsolable!

Symbols could very well confuse some people who have weak eyesight.

That's sad. I think this was the difference in the end because a couple of independents 112 got 5k+ votes.

Major is well aware of IK focus on local governments and the funds coming so Major will make sure her daughter remains District Mayor. I think PP-3 will go to his son if they can promise him some ministry in Punjab cabinet and he will agree to give NA-55 to Amin Aslam. Malik Amin Aslam was in bani gala yesterday celebrating with IK

Major is well aware of IK focus on local governments and the funds coming so Major will make sure her daughter remains District Mayor. I think PP-3 will go to his son if they can promise him some ministry in Punjab cabinet and he will agree to give NA-55 to Amin Aslam. Malik Amin Aslam was in bani gala yesterday celebrating with IK

Yeah, IK had already said he is the environment minister in waiting. I don't think he will give much leeway to Major this time. Amin Aslam is definitely running for NA-55.

Finally some good news from interior Sindh after the Jatois disappointed in Dadu.

I think the final result would definitely be PMLN in the lead.

As of now, according to official results, it is 100 each for PTI, 5 for PMLQ, 4 for PPP, 1 for PML-F (Surprise from PP-199 in Sahiwal). 85 seats still to go.
