I really don't approve of bringing these extremists in. This will hurt PTI, and is not needed. It will especially put Shias off from PTI too.

Why is IK allowing these extremists to join. This is a very bad move. Shame on PTI if this is true. How can they claim to make things better for minority communities if you are associating with extremists?

Thoughts?

Always on the cards. BAP is not a good party but they have the electoral mandate and we must respect it.

Balochistan politics is a very dirty game. A lot needs to be done to give rise to a new range of politicians and parties who focus on real issues, instead of eating out of Islamabads hands when it suits them and they playing Baloch card when it doesn't.

The biggest mistake in Balochistans history was dismissal of. government in 1973 by ZAB. Things just haven't been able to reconstruct themselves since. If that government was allowed to continue its term we could have had some progress but last 40-50 years we are just going around in circles.

Most people in other parts of Pakistan know nothing about Balochistan or our political history. I had a freind at work who couldn;t even identify it on a map.

Lets hope things are better under PTI but seriously disappointed by taking om Muawia Azam. How do you think this will make Shia hazara community feel?

They rejected this two days ago, so I hope this is fake.

Every Ind MPA/MNA who joined PTI met IK except Muavia so i don't think the news is true. Ludhianvi and Muavia will never join PTI without having a photo session with IK to prove their worth

The photos of him an Tareen are a couple days old, and the story is above.

Daily Times is reporting fake news. PTI called off all of todays meetings at Bani Gala this morning in favour of coallition talks and cabinet decisions. There is no way they scheduled Imran Khan to meet independents today.

Tareen and SMQ are doing a presser with Jam Kamal of BAP.

PTI will be in Balochistan government confirmed.

Well now that BAP have been elected, let's hope that they can turn a corner, and work with PTI towards the betterment of Balochistan. Naim bhai thought that Bizejo was doing decent work, so going by that, it isn't a bad start.

Don't think Mauvia Azam has been taken on, there is a whole story behind that photo with JKT.

Excellent. So PTI will be part of 4 governments in total(In Federal,KPK and Punjab they will have majority seats and they will be part of coalition in Balochistan). They will also provide a strong opposition in Sindh.

As imran said before elections that "I was impressed with young and new govt of Baluchistan.they were some educated people and They were wanting to do something for their provenance ."

Only time will tell how Jam Kamal turns out to be.

Before elections, I actually liked Bizenjo. He seemed to be more proactive, and he was doing a decent job. I wonder why they didn't give him CM'ship again.

I know a few on this forum:aamer

What are you two trying to say? We exist in large numbers thorught the forum and the country. Pakistans only 25+ degrees straightening all rounder.

Wonder how Sethi feels about the guys going to visit IK, wonder if he'll try to bring in an political impartiality clause into the next central contract to stop this kind of thing.

There are many who won as Ind after not getting ticket this shows the failure of PTI on many constituencies where they handed tickets to weak candidates for different reasons.

Zakir leading them? I am really afraid now this TTF need to be kept far away from any post in PCB

Sethi is almost gone now.He will not be able to do anything.

Normally,I would agree that players should have freedom of expression. But don't think it looks good when active players are going to meet politicians.

That ultimately played in favor of PTI that so many winning PP independents had already been affiliated with the party in the past. Made it harder for PMLN to get to them.

But in the end, it is still a failure on PTI's part that they let the purported electables trump the genuine workers.

I think the only reason this is happening is because the elected individual belonged to their fraternity.

I've got a hunch IK is gonna keep him on to show he's not gonna politically sideline anyone, especially since Sethi wrote that "militablishment" peace to try to provoke a reaction. Just hold fire for a few months, let the NAB take its course and then have him removed legally and be left looking like a billion dollars & impartial.

There was a pic of Khan with Waqar but not with other players :13: i hope he met them all he is having a busy schedule but he should meet them all if they reached Bani Gala.

Sethi wife is an Ind MPA and she met and joined PMLN yesterday that clearly shows Sethi is going but i think Sethi will go to courts if Imran remove him.

A possible surprise for CM Punjab? Imran had a meeting with Mian Aslam Iqbal he is our MPA from Lahore and was also our MPA from 2013 to 2018 and an Ind MPA from 2002 to 2007. Raja Yasir of Chakwal is also in the race now

Your thoughts on him? Does he have what it takes?

Did Sarfaraz meet Imran?

I am not liking how our players are meeting Imran when he doesnt have any past affiliation with them. They are not the one to have played alongside Imran and still are going to congratulate him. Such things must not change anything related to their chances of securing a place in our national team.

Your thoughts on him? Does he have what it takes?

He is a MBA a decent guy and although he is an old politician and very popular in his consistency but didn't saw him regularly on media so don't much about him. Here is an interview of him looks like a soft guy https://youtu.be/howE-eidg8M?t=274

He is potentially a good choice, but remains to be seen if he has what it takes to deal with the entrenched bureaucracy that Sharifs have left behind.

So how many more seats needed to form federal government.

What’s update on coalition with MQM.

Still 4 short, even if MQM comes on board. But according to insider sources MQM have put up unrealistic demands, including NADRA verification on 12 Karachi halqas and an end to Rangers operation. I don't think we should ally with MQM.

MQM can never wwork with PTI because PTI has is the main player in Karachi now and they would never accept this at any point.

In the first poll we need 172 seats but both parties won't be able to achieve it, so in the 2nd poll, it's the majority that matters.

This is what PTI needs, so stop thinking about 172.

I've always said never ever trust MQM.

They have had govt funds for the last 10 years but what did they do with the funds? What have they done for Karachi? NOTHING.

All they are concerned with is controlling Mohaajirs and their goons.

Now PTI are finding it difficult forming a coalition without them.

You can BLAME ALEEM KHAN for all this as he messed up ticket allocations in Punjab where we were guaranteed to win 6 to 7 seats.

Now we have to go to MQM to ask them to join.

PTI should accept their demand for now :))

Once PTI wins 6 seats out of 8 to 10(not sure the exact number) in the bye-election then they can be booted out of the government.

Khan to retain Mianwali seat. Good decision i will say because Lahore was too risky and people of Mianwali were already angry when Khan resigned from this seat twice before.

Is it confirmed? Because it would really bad for the whole Wazire Azam Karachi Se campaign that got us major inroads in Khi.

A Machiavellian strategy, don't think PTI will play it with a slender majority in parliament. They would require the support of these parties when it comes to Bills. Doesn't do any good in alienating them.

That campaign got us the seats in the elections bu from here on our performance in Karachi will dictate our future position there.

Some channels reported it earlier today. I think it is also to calm down Fazlu and MQM by giving them another chance :yk

This is dangerous. Opposition might field their own speakers.

True. But I am feeling that PPP might snare that seat if Khan vacates it because unlike in Punjab and KP where we have provincial govt control, we don't have one in Sindh. Thus the luxury of incumbency has somewhat diminished there. Furthermore, Karachi is back in the fold of mainstream politics after several decades. You wouldn't want to risk that.

However, if Rashid Godil stands from there, we might have a fighting chance in the face of PPP's provincial machinery.

Poor Strategy is what's gonna kill PTI, all this should have been planned for already, especially if you're going with the "PM from Karachi" mantra. I can understand having to switch tactics now and again cos of fate playing you a bad hand but instead it's unforced errors which are costing us.

Who is it that's causing this? I see everyone continuously blaming Aleem Khan for all the ills 😂 But we need a serious talented planner to take the reigns right now, really whip the troops into shape, someone who lives on detail and is a chess player a few moves ahead. Sadly I can't name this person

You are among friends, lol. Take the name.

We need to rope in Independent MNAs as soon as possible. That should have been the easier part.

The whole delay in the result notification is causing this. After ECP formally notifies the results, the independents have 3 days to join a party.

I am of the opinion that independents should be barred from contesting elections. Only party candidates should be allowed. They don't bring anything to the table apart from price wars and drama.

However, if Rashid Godil stands from there, we might have a fighting chance in the face of PPP's provincial machinery.
True we might lose that seat but if we can get MQM on board it’s worth the risk.

The whole delay in the result notification is causing this. After ECP formally notifies the results, the independents have 3 days to join a party.

I am of the opinion that independents should be barred from contesting elections. Only party candidates should be allowed. They don't bring anything to the table apart from price wars and drama.

I agree they shouldn’t be allowed but they are here now and we should bring them in. Most Independents from PP joined us so they should join us too.

A Machiavellian strategy, don't think PTI will play it with a slender majority in parliament. They would require the support of these parties when it comes to Bills. Doesn't do any good in alienating them.

PPP and PML N have overwhelming majority in the senate if they oppose anything, no bill will go to NA so with or without MQM it doesn't really matter

but

PPP and PML N won't oppose all bills for the sake of it. PPP has always advocated for South Punjab so PTI trying to propose a bill and I think PPP will support it.

The one and only Mian

But in all seriousness, I don't think the person exists or we've not come across him/her yet. Someone IK/Asad Umar could rely on to do all that side of the work

Situation right now.
PTI 110
PMLQ 2
Independents 5
BAP 4
APML 1
Only 122 seats?

Wow we have a serious crisis on our hands.

JKT was our perfect candidate for CM Punjab but Allah ko kuch or he manzoor tha.

TIimes of Islamabad reported that Shehbaz Sharif was shocked that only 103 out of 129 MPAs attended the session.
