PPCL Double Over Smash

[AFM]

Welcome to the PPCL Double Over Smash, sponsored by Big Ant Studios. This is a side tournament to accompany the ongoing main event - the PPCL. Misbah Ul Haq, the Chairman of Islamabad United, has launched this tournament to help appease fans who have been so derived of cricket in the recent weeks.

Tournament Structure and Rules

1) 4 teams will participate in a Round Robin stage. Top 2 play the Final.
2) Teams are named after the PSL Franchises.
3) Each match will consist of 2 overs.
4) Each over will consist of 8 balls.
5) Each team will consist of 4 members + plus 7 All Star Guests as specialist fielders.
6) Only the 4 members will be involved in batting, bowling and wicket keeping.
7) If a team gets 3 wickets before the 2 overs have ended, the batting team's innings will come to an end.
8) In case of a tie - a super over will be decided.
9) Each team will be awarded 3 points for a win, 2 points for a tie and 1 point if the match is cancelled.
10) Each team will have Misbah Ul-Haq as 12th man in a mentor role.
11) The games will be played out as AI vs AI on DBC 17, and the videos will be posted here.
12) All games will be played at the SCG. Pitch conditions will be selected randomly.

The team members have been already picked and been designated team spots. Wherever possible, the same roles have been assigned as in the ongoing PPCL. All bowling styles are the same as in the current PPCL. The team structure is organised into 2 batsmen (one is a WK) + 2 bowling AR's.
