Possibly because an overwhelming majority of Indian migrants in Canada are from Punjab.
I don't want to paint an entire state with the same brush but I have disliked most Indian Punjabis I have met. They all walk around with a chip on their shoulder. The turbaned Sikhs are somewhat ok, but the clean shaven ones and the Hindus are terribly annoying. Put a lot of them in any place outside Punjab and they will soon be the most unpopular ones there. Delhi is a prime example. Mumbai has followed suit.
Another bunch of Indians that I don't really like are Bengalis. The same chip on the shoulder. But at least, they don't migrate much.

The first question when you become friendly with indian punjabis in Delhi, is that they will ask you, where are you from? I ask them home many generations ago, and from my mothers or fathers side? And after answering, I ask them, where are you from? They never expect this to be asked. As most of their grandparents are from Pakistan. And I love to remind this if anyone asks me where I am from.

Khalistanis were never in Pakistan's good books. They have only been used as pawns against India and are too dumb to realize it. It is the same with Kashmiri muslims. Any alleged Pakistani sympathy for the muslims or sikhs across the border is all just drama.

Canada has taken in so many Indian students who shouldn't be there. I heard so many of them don't even speak or understand proper English. They are bribing IELTS exams with money and coming to Canada to do some certificate course and hoping to get the Citizenship.

People here are very angry about many different things. Justin Trudeau has destroyed this country with loose immigration, bad economy, increased crimes, worsening healthcare, housing crisis etc.

This is why next election is very important. Canada cannot afford 4 more years of Trudeau.

I was looking for a condo in DT and my realtor happened to be an Indian, unlike what @JaDed might think, i have no beef with Indians. She was insistent that since the condo is owned by Chinese they would not even consider the application based on her previous experience. Because the general perception (which i think is not completely right) is that indians are known for lying on their lease applications, 6 people stuffed in single room which is violation of fire codes and are not best in terms of hygiene. So, she pushed me for an Indian landlord in the same building, the deal didnt go to pass and i forced her to submit my application with the chinese landlord.

Lo and behold, she talked to me, got to know i am pakistani, and after talking to me on call, not only offered me the condo but a potential job as well as she was some big shot.

Its funny that back in the day, the west hated chinese but now they respect them because Chinese people through their mannerism, hard work, assimilation and non fanatic behavior have become white adjacent.

Honestly, i am thankfully yet to experience any racism, but i do feel the micro aggressions (maybe over-reading the situation due to the recent paranoia). He just had arrived from India, didnt speak much english but as soon as he got to know i am pakistani, he started speaking to me about Khalistan. The one thing that cracks me up about Khalistan is its the only movement that is filled with Uber and truck drivers, every other movement in world has lawyers , economists except this one.

I live 5-10 minutes away from Markham. It is a lovely city and I visit it frequently.

Not surprised at that Chinese condo owner's vigilance. There have been many frauds happening in Canada for the past 5-10 years.

Maxine and his PPC are the only true actual conservatives in Canada in addition to the Qubecios. PP is a panderer himself and just greedy for power. He does not have any clear immigration or economic policy. He has not announced any taxs cut and is literally basing his whole campaign on cutting the carbon tax which is least of canada’s problem right now.

He is too afraid to actually be a proper conservative leader which the people of Canada are asking right now as they are exhausted by high taxation, ridiculous housing prices and uncontrolled mass immigration.
