Pakistan has never done white wash in England, has a rare opportunity to do white wash, given short series.

Pakistan is on high, batting is clicking, bowling is clicking, fielding is improving.

Will they do it? :hasan2 Why not!

Last series won in England: 1996

I don’t see England mak8ng a come back. They don’t have enough talent and confidence level is low. Indian team was exactly like this back in 2012 when eng beat us at home. Too many over the hill players in the team, team management didn’t know what to do with them when they were not performing.

Cook, Clouderson and Barbie are in their twilight of their career. Pathetic or average talent like stone man, malan, Bess.

Pakistan needs to play really badly to lose or draw this game.

to be honest reading all the different threads/posts/comments on here since the last game , i was thinking it is very very doable, all pakistan needs to do is bat and bowl with the same resolve and sencebillity they showed at lord and go home as legends of pakistan cricket

Weather forecast has improved. 2-0 would be great but I will take a 1-0 win too.

Next target should be series win in SA and Aus. They can do it.

It is okay if we have won a series in 1996 because in 2006, it was the first time we lost a series to England.

Whereas, other team visit year in and year out and get whitewashed 5-0. I will take a 1-1 over a 5-0.

We haven't won a series in ENG for 22 years.

We've drawn two and lost two since.

It's about time we win.

Its always good to win a series but kindly dont forget the fact that it was in 2006 we lost our first series in England. So, its not much of a big gap. Also in 22 years, we have visit England only 3 to 4 times whereas there are teams which visit every year and every other second year and get owned shamelessly. :wahab2

Doesn't actually feel like a whitewash when the series is only two matches long. I still hope they make it 2-0.

How many teams have whitewashed England in England?

Indeed this is a good chance. It would give our players a huge confidence boost if they could win an overseas series. England are very good at home so winning this series would be a massive achievement.

Match washed off or effected by rain will do me:yuvi Only a Pak 5-0 win means a brownwash for me:inzi2

Hahaha, this is why I don't listen to random opinions.

The only thing stopping Pakistan from winning this one is the weather, iA.

A win in Headingley is a given. I'm already looking forward to the next series.

Other team won a series in 2007. Only got whitewashed once. You must be talking about your teams performance in Australia where they got whitewashed last 4 or 5 Times.:))

Says about India and Pakistan when they bicker about who has been whitewashed how many times

How many teams have whitewashed England in England?

By australia when there was just one test match of the series. And by WI, they won 5 out 5 test against England in 1984. Many draws by other countries and england not winning single game, but whitewash only done by these two teams.
