The schedule is as follows for Day 4 (Wednesday):

Group C - Islamabad Leopards v Abbottabad Rhinos (1200 GMT)

Group A - Peshawar Panthers v Quetta Bears (1600 GMT)


There is no morning game today, and only two games are scheduled.

Today sees the tournament début of the Islamabad Leopards side - a few big names in their team.

To be honest I think Bears can create an up-set Panthers are not really doing well.
 
Is there a reason why Group A has four Teams (and Group C only two)?

It would have probably helped Quetta if they were put in Group C
 
I think the reason is that they had 13 teams in total - so three groups had 3 teams each, whilst one group (Group A) ended up with 4.

Group C also has three teams - their third team is Islamabad Leopards whose tournament début is today.
 
Looking through the tables, its clear that all games after today's will in effect be quarter-finals!

A - Lahore Lions v Multan Tigers

B - Rawalpindi Rams v Sialkot Stallions

C - Faisalabad Wolves v Islamabad Leopards (as long as they win today!)

D - Karachi Dolphins v Lahore Eagles


So that's four winner takes-all contests - pretty good for the neutrals.
 
AKhtar team will team them alive..... Anxiously waiting to see AKHTAR bowl but damn i will miss it as ill be not at hom.....damn.
 
I for one will be shocked if Shoaib makes an appearance.

Oh well...looks like the Pindi Express has derailed before even taking off :akhtar
 
]So to sum up the group stage at the moment: :inzi

Group A:


Quetta & Peshawar are out. The Lahore Lions VS Multan game on thursday will be a quater final.


Group B:


Karachi Zebras are out. The Rawalpindi Rams :aamir VS :malik Sialkot Stallions will be a QF.

Group C:


Group C is open right now however if Islamabad beat Abbottabad tmrw then the Islamabad VS Faislabad game will be a quater final.

Otherwise, if Islamabad loose tmrw, then a win for Faislabad VS Islamabad will put them through however if Islamabad beat Faislabad all teams end on 2 points and goes to NRR

Group D:


This group is more or less done. Hydrabad are out and the Karachi Dolphins VS Lahore Eagles game is a quater final on Friday.

In the semi it will be:

Winner of A VS Winner of C
Winner of B VS Winner of D

Allready we know that both games on Thursday will be Quater Fianls for Saturdays semi. If Islamabad beat Abbottabad tmrw morning then we will have 2 Quater Finals on Friday aswell.

Sticking with my predictions:

Multan (cant think of any big name :(:P) VS :akhtar Islamabad
Sialkot :malik VS :afridi Karachin Dolphins (massive game)

Maybe Azhar. Its a T20, if Yousuf is the skipper then he'll prbably instruct his batsmen to see off the new ball for the first 15 overs.

Then when they are fielding he would probably be in trouble with the umpire for having too many men on the boundary within the 6 over powerplay.

Again Shoaib again not playing from Islamabad Leopards in RBS T20 match today. According to the Geo he has temperature and not fit enough to play the match today. I am not sure either he has temperature or not fit. Or not fit to play because of the temperature? Anyhow in any case he is not playing.

According to host Naseem Rajput Akhtar is not playing due to strain in calf.

similar follow through to the beast when hitting but so far doesnt appear to have the same strength...
 
This Sajid looks just like :afridi - he has the same mannerisms at the crease and very similar batting stance.
 
nor the same hand eye coordination...

but still early days for the mini beast!

azhar mahmood bowling is good but his run up is very very short .
 
Kashif looked to have a decent technique and played quiet nicely..

certainly better then manzoor and latiff..
 
Always take on Moyo's throws, his underarm flicks are the speed of an Indian bowler.

118 is the target.
 
Shoaib getting big cheers on the big screen, looks like the lipo has worked as well, he's looking as thin as 99.
