One of the most underpaid players in IPL history.

Among foreign left-arm pace bowlers in IPL history who have taken at least 50 wickets, Mustafizur Rahman (Bangladesh) is the most economical. Mustafizur has maintained an economy rate of around 7.7 runs per over while surpassing the 50-wicket milestone. Other foreign left-arm pacers like Trent Boult (New Zealand) and Jason Behrendorff (Australia) have also crossed 50 wickets, but their economy rates are slightly higher than Mustafizur's.

Only time Mustafizur had a good full season was his debut IPL season in 2016.

Every other season , he has either got thrashed or struggled to take wickets upfront. Something Boult is very good at

He should be grateful he is paid at all.

BPL don't even pay actual performers

What a knock that was by Jitesh. Scored more than entire Bangladesh batting lineup would have against LSG attack. :inti

What do u 7.7 er mean while crossing 50.

His overall e.r is 8.13. He played 60 matches and took 65 wickets.thats not much for a pure bowler. He never speaks to anyone on the field , never discuss, never helps the team when captain is in trouble. Thats the prime quality of bng players sitting near the fence with out much interaction including shakib. Compare that to afg players. All of them will stay next to the captain and help him out. They are the first ones to approach the captain. Even worst fizz never try to learn English too.Even after 10 international seasons, he needs translator. Its not about individual performance it's about caring for the team u play.

It's from AI, must be using previous data. Fizz is old school. Kudos to fizz for not trying to change his roots. A lot of the BD cricket players are from poor background while all the rich kids plays football.

Fizz is actually giving you performance similar to other top international players while having base salary of only 2 CR. So his performance to salary is quite good.

What does have poor background have to do?afg players are dirt poor and everone learnt eng. Even Indian players like jaiswal, shami etc.fizz is enough rich than most of rich kids now from bng.He does not have any willingness to learn , adapt and survive in new situations . He used to get way more when he is new and now he does not get more because he was relegated to lower tier.

Disagree.

Ishant Sharma is not a dangerous batter. :inti
True :p

But batsmen Sharma's are dangerous... may not be consistent but dangerous.... Rohit, ABhishek, Jitesha and Ashutosh.... hmm dangerous... can explode any random game...

Just compare the salaries and performances of Venkatesh Iyer and Rishabh Pant , Mustafizur gives way better value for money. :afridi

I wish someone with free time could do a full 'value for money' analysis for IPL 2025. That kind of ranking would be really fun to see. Of course, the funny part is that in the next auction, the same players might be bought for a higher price and then not perform as well.

It would also be interesting to see who the best value-for-money player has been in the entire history of the IPL. And which team has been the smartest at picking such players. It would be cool to compare smart buys with IPL wins.:afridi

I think afaik team should be rajastan. Right from the start they followed moneyball approach and got the best talent at their budding stages and stick them. Watson, pathan,Jadeja, Jaiswal, jurel, samson, suryavanshi , sohail tanvir etc.they made best use of warne , grame smith etc too.Mumbai made the best deal with their brains and insane scouting talent.bumrah, ishan, tilak , pollard, pandya , rejuvenated Mitchell Johnson before the famous ashes, Getting rohit, sky before their fame.Rcb must be one of the most pathetic ones with yuvi, tynal mills , Jamieson etc

Qualifier 1.

RCB won the Toss and Opt to Bowl first.

PBKS - 30/3 in 3.4 over .

RCB RCB ♥️

:kp

There goes iyer and his perennial issue of short ball handling. He always stucks at crease expecting bouncer against good pacers and gets out.

Hazelwood get his second wicket, Inglis gone.

PBKS 38/4 in 5.1 over

RCB RCB RCB .

ee sala cup namde 😍🔥♥️

:kp

Once you kill Punjab's top order, then its game over... S.Iyer is ineffective if he is exposed to new ball & pace bowling... Even with bowling, you should see of Punjab's new ball bowlers...

Perfect start for RCB

Yesssss. Yash Dayal strike and Wadhera Gone.

PBKS are five down .50/5 in 6.3 overs.

:kp

Stoinis please Aaj nahi. Qualifier 2 main support karunga PBKS ko.

Aaj RCB ko jitna hai bus 🙏

:kp

60/7. Feeling sorry for Preity Zinta but Hopefully they will win qualifier 2.

Today is RCB day. :kp

Yeah Punjab is a good team to have in Finals for RCB... Just like South Africa would prefer NZ if they were to reach a World Cup Finals!

I think it's time RCB fans can confidently start saying

Ee Sala Cup Namde . Hopefully no Jinx 🥲

:kp

Damn , Punjab has good batting depth. 7 wickets down still stoinis and omarzai are batting , Harpreet brar can bat as well.

:kp

Iyer pr army was in full flow before the match to make him white ball captain. Alas the pitch curator have other plans. This is exactly why Indian team management should prepare an alternative for his place in odi wc 27 in s.a .

Thanks Hazelwood for coming up for to play the playoffs matches.

@The Bald Eagle Hazelwood know how important is winning the trophy for RCB fans and he is about to deliver for RCB. Just one match and trophy will be our 😍

:kp

3 WICKET HAUL FOR SUYASH SHARMA!!!

:kp

Whata catch . 101 all out.

Excellent bowling performance by RCB . ee sala cup namde

:kp

What an over by Kyle Jamieson. Wicket madein overs

RCB 30/1 in 4 overs

Please Play sensible cricket .

:kp

21 runs from Jamieson 3rd over .

RCB 61/1 in 6 overs. Just need another 41 runs in 84 balls

:kp

That was some pathetic batting by PBKS.

Looks like Kohli will finally win IPL to sign off into retirement from International Cricket.

We are into the FINALS🔥🔥🔥 :kp
Congratulations 👏

RCB Storm Into Final With Easy 8-Wicket Win Over PBKS

Bowlers shone as Royal Challengers Bengaluru outplayed Punjab Kings by 8 wickets in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 in Mullanpur. With the victory, RCB sealed their place in the final for the fourth time in history. The side bundled out PBKS for 101 runs after opting to bowl first. RCB bowlers justified skipper Rajat Patidar's decision to field first by packing off PBKS for a paltry total in just 14.1 overs. Marcus Stoinis was top-scorer with 26. Young leg-spinner Suyash Sharma (3/17) did the star turn for RCB by picking up three wickets while pacers Josh Hazlewood (3/21), Yash Dayal (2/26) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/17) also helped the team's cause. In the paltry chase, Phil Salt scored 56 off 27 balls to clinch an easy win for RCB.

Can RCB win the final ?

What a great last one and half year for me 😍😍🔥🔥🔥

:kp

RCB should win this from here... Can they botch this one again??? Yes they can but will they??..

If they botch it again, they will be called the biggest bottler team in the world.

Hopefully Today MI lose the match otherwise they will win the yet another IPL trophy.

If mumbai Indians reached in the final ,No one can stop them to winning the Trophy. 🥲

:kp

Actually today is the most important game for RCB more than Finals ;)

GT should take care of Mumbai today.

RCB winning the cup chances goes like this:

vs Punjab - 90% chances (because Punjab has similar reputation in IPL without any trophies + demoralization in Qualifier)
vs GT - 50% chance (GT is also a determined team and have already won the title once, but also they bottled it against CSK once + they are without Pandya and they slipped ever since then, last year they didn't even reach playoffs)
vs MI - 10% chance (without doubt! MI with 2 wins in the playoffs & their Mumbai blood which roots back to even Ranji is deadly dangerous)

So ideally RCB would prefer MI getting eliminated today itself, GT eliminated in the next game!

If RCB somehow meats MI and beat them to lift the trophy, that is going to be a monumental effort, I will tell you that! It will be like worth winning 2 titles! And RCB might turn into an inspired team and go on to win few more titles in the coming years...

Anti-Climax: If Punjab meet RCB in the Finals and beat them (take revenge). That will be the most heart-breaking moment for RCB.

Fingers crossed for whatever happens, exiting few days for cricket lovers...

15 out of 15 – a flawless record. Since the IPL adopted the playoffs format in 2011, every single team that has finished second in the league stage has gone on to make the final. This remarkable trend continues in 2025 with RCB becoming the 15th consecutive team to turn a second-place finish into a finals berth. While history favors the No. 2 team’s final appearance, only 6 of them have gone on to lift the trophy. With RCB now in the final, all eyes are on whether they can break their title drought and convert this statistical streak into championship glory.
