I'm wonderin the same thing. Personally I don't think Gibbs is a good enough ODI player to have the record.

Saeed is a much better record holder. But the rate at which he is going and considering there is 20 overs left it looks very likely.

But there are two new batsmen at the crease now and it wont be such any task now. Therefore i still rate aussies as the favorites to win this one

yes, its possible, hope they dont take too many risks... cant afford to loose another wicket now
 
Kallis is going to slow it down now. Had gibbs stayed for another 3 overs, then the target would have been well in reach of SA
 
are the boundaries shorter than they usually are??? is the pitch flatter than what we get here in karachi and lahore? no matter what man, i cant believe sooo many runs have been scored in such a brutal manner by both sides...
i would love to get a recording of this match

cricinfo gone crazy... according to their scoreboard only one batsman (kallis) is on the pitch...
 
STILL i Dont if the pitch dead and nothung, but how can u hit bowler like that??

This is the only time in my life i am wanting Jaques Kallis to do well. Go on South Africa.
 
SA are definately in with a chance.

Granted AUS still had ponting at the crease, but SA is far ahead at this point. They should not panic, at least not yet.

if they play full fifty overs , they will win . all they have to do is be sesible now and not to take many risks till 40 th over , from here on south africa has to loose this , they have done all the hard work
