Should Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam bat in the lower middle-order on pacy and bouncy pitches?

In recent matches we have seen the fact that Babar, and Hafeez do REALLY struggles against quality pace bowling when ball is fairly new and pitches are fast & bouncy like in NZ, ENG, SA, AUS (conditions with some swing)

With introduction of Harris Shoail and his technique and ability to face fast
with out taking too much risks. I think we should consider switching may be a top order position for Babar, may be this is a trick we really missing here in NZ (we are waisting Babar at top when he really struggles against fast moving balls by Southe, Boult and co in NZ conditions, his record in England was pretty similar)

Therefore I think may be Harris is a good choice for #3 in such conditions, then #4 for Shoaib, #5 for Babar and #6 for Hafeez

In opening we really need some attacking options, I am dreaming for Sharjeel to come back and open with Fakhar. I am sure results would be much better, and Pakistan can do a counter attack in first 10-15 overs, even if we still loose one of the openers.

In UAE and rest of Asian conditions, I think Babar is the best option for #3, then Harris, followed by Shoaib Malik. Hafeez and Sarfraz does really well when they play together in lower middle order in any conditions, when the ball is old.

I think that we shall revisit how not to waiste Babar when he is really struggling with his serious weakness against fast blowing in bouncy pitches...

Yes unfortunately until we found a better replacement who is consistent and dependable.

Try anyone in Pakistan, 8 times out if 10 they will do better than Malik..

Lol if babar is needed to be kept safe. Who should come up then? Bowlers?

He needs to man up and score there or be gone. Whats the point of playing slow if you cant building an innings on such sort of tracks?

Hafeez should bat at 5 everywhere, he's one of your best batsmen.

Fakhar
Umar Akmal
Babar
Haris
Hafeez
