For me - mA 7 lbs and counting 😅😅😅

Although I am also working out regularly....

3 kgs so far.

Wow, in just over a week?

Last Ramadan I lost 4 kg and shed approx 10% body fat by working out twice in a day, weights in the day and cardio/boxing/squash/football at night. Ramadan is the best time to get rid of that fat.

MashAllah brother good for you :)

What have you done to lose this weight?

Nothing extravagant eaten in iftar and sehri and between; Drinking at least 2 litres of water; Playing table tennis for about two hours at night.

I am feeling fine brother :)

You should be very careful. Preferably, intentional weight loss shouldn't be more than 4 kg/Month.
More abrupt weight loss means more mobilization and trafficking of Fats through liver, eventually increased trafficking of Fats will lead to deposition of Fats in Liver.

Hazards of rapid weight loss are very underrated.

What diet do you take brother??

For iftari, 1 protein shake with milk along with some brown bread. After about an hour I usually eat some cooked chicken and an apple. After coming from playing table tennis I eat about 400-500 grams of low fat yogurt; A brown bread sandwich with some low fat cheese spread. For sehri I eat 5 whole eggs and an apple.

Probably not the best diet in terms of potential though.

Do you have to completely avoid fried items like pakoras or samosas or you can consume in small quantities ?Btw I am trying to reduce belly fat and I have exercising for the past 2 months (by running 2 km daily and doing physical training)and I have already lost considerable amount of belly fat but not completely ,and I am 22 years old btw.

Isn't it too soon? Most probably people are losing water weight at the moment.

I avoid them because of the large oil content. I'd advise you to do the same or take in few quantities.

Try to calculate how many calories you take in and whether or not you can afford pakoras in your diet.

Well , I had lost about 16 kgs in 3 months before Ramadan but stopped going to gym for 2 months and gained 4 kgs again. So far have been static in Ramadan.

2 kgs.

Feeling very fit during Ramzan.

Don’t know why but I have more energy.

I decided to give up juice (Rooh-Afza, lemonade etc.) this time and drink water only. It hasn't been easy because the temptation is very strong, but I feel so much better. There is no sugar crash after iftari and I feel pretty active.

I used to be completely unproductive post-iftari, but not anymore.

Previously I used to lose 5-6 kgs, bit this time I have tried to stay in balance, has worked well so far.

I have gained 1 kg, help..

Please tell me your aftari and sehr routine

I have started doing 20 mins HIIT cardio post iftar and 20 mins walk but im not sure if its gonna stop the weight gain.

That's my life approach.

No cola, sprite, jucies or other sugary drinks. Even with pizzas and burgers I choose water over soda drinks. The burger and the pizza have enough calories and sugars to begin with. Only on vety rare occasions do I allow fornan exception.

Good idea! I’ve done the same! However you can still drink flavoured sparkling water. It’d a amazing replacement to fizzy drinks.

Either by then from a super market or buy your own sparking water and squeeze, for example lemon and lime into it then cut half of each and place it in the jug and let it sit.

It’s amazing and so much healthier. You’re drinking water and consuming fruit!

what do you eat for sehr and aftar?

For sehri I eat roti, qeema and dahi while for iftari a few pakoras fruits such as melon and water,I avoid sweet drinks such as rooh afza as this is the easiest way to gain weight.

I'm trying to just maintain my weight, then after ramzan will get back into gym properly. Haven't been making a lot of progress recently.
