What pains me is that a proper Indian XI would have torn apart this Saffer Xi.

I will consider this match as a loss ANYWAYS (even with that lineup) but games 1-4 would have been winnable.

I have posted a lot about a good Indian XI. But we will take our sweet time to get there.

Pakistan 2012 humiliation was needed for India to win CT 2013.

Will this be considered a humiliation?

Just as I said. They would not get 250. Rahane's knock was good but today's match was played under practically no pressure after Kohli's exit - it will be a lot harder to chase down a target of 250-300 when there will be real pressure to win and that is where we have to check where Rahane stands.
