What's new

South Africa defeat Pakistan by 6 wkts to win the 1st Test & take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series

High chances It will be given not out. Just because its a bit controversial and every marginal decision goes against Pakistan.

There you go. Pathetic umpiring. Who is the third umpire?

What the hell how can u overturn this
Soft signal was out and nothing clear to show e dropped it
This is really pathetic

Ntini finally sounding like the legendary fast bowler

He's damn funny. I remember him describing that 458 chase (almost) in 2013 vs India as driving down 5 streets with 100 houses. He would say only 4 streets and 58 houses left to go. I quite enjoyed his optimism. He's a pleasant guy.

There you go. I said it.

EVERY MARGINAL DECISION GOES AGAINST PAKISTAN. I WONDER WHY!

Could've understood the not out decision had the soft signal been not out. But that was terrible from the 3rd umpire.

Stop being a victim. The Markram out decision was an umpire's call with the ball barely brushing the bails.

If the soft signal was given out, it should have been given. There was not conclusive evidence to overturn it.

We should have 3 wickets by now, that dropped Catch should have been held on second attempt

To be fair, there was enough doubt about that. I think this umpire is inexperienced as well, given that everyone else thought it was out in real time. Anyways, it was destined, no need to cry over spilt milk.

Westerners just don't like us, it's about time we accepted that. They never have. They liked Imran Khan because they thought he was one of them, but they've never liked us. It's a fact. They don't like Indians either but that's just too much money to ignore.

Fluke decision. 9/10 times, the soft signal would have been upheld in this situation. However, we deserve to lose so justice has been served.

Oh nice. 1 in 100 marginal decisions was given in their favour. Clearly everything is right.

Can you imagine Babar's crush trying to interpret his signals. It would be a nightmare with his confusing facial expressions

Great bowling by all three bowlers thus far. Not sure who Abbas should come in for. Maybe Shah? If Haris is fit and can be trusted to bowl 15 overs in the innings.

To be honest, this seemed more obvious that the ball was planted on the gross for a split second than the Kohli decision, which although similar, supported the soft decision.

This kind of 3rd umpiring decision is WAY too arbitrary. They might as well just go with the soft signal every time to rule out conspiracy theories...

Bhai, Pakistani hokay ye cheezein expect karni chahiye. We're at a disadvantage everywhere in the world in every aspect. Nobody likes us. Visay tak tou lagtay nahi. :))

HAHA so suddenly its a race thing?

That's a lot of hurt feelings. You realize that if Oxenford had given Markram not out instead of out, then it would have been umpire's call not out after review.

As for the Elgar catch, it did seem in slow motion that the ball touched the grass with fingers around and over the ball rather than underneath it.

Only if the stupid batsmen could have given the bowlers 200 runs.

Look, I'm just saying this happens far too often for it to not be a race thing. And, we're the same race, it's not that. Pakistanis just aren't liked, buddy. All marginal decisions go against us.
