lol Pant telling Shami "Ghumana Mat"..![]()
LOL
But jokes apart he (Pant) has mastered the art of test batting with is calculated risks. He is doing it repeatedly when situation requires him to do so.

So in order to prop our current 'batting' line-up, you call those batsmen FTBs? Or worse still, you accuse them of something more sinister, pitch fixing!
Anything above 220 would be an epic chase. India have to bowl really really bad to not win this one!
India will win this one for sure..
305 to win..can it be chased.

I just saw on some stat board Eng have lost their last 12 out of 13 tests played in oz. The one draw was because of the Melbourne motorway wicket in 2017 where i think about 23 wickets fell in 5 days.
I knew Eng were not that flash but did'nt realize their record was so rock bottom. And they still moan at SC pitches when they cant play bounce and seam in Aus conditions.
On the same front Considering SAF have grown up on such wickets - should'nt they be scoring gadzillion runs against us who come from different conditions? at least they should be super fluent whilst batting in their own conditions and also take bag fuls of wickets against us. Not to speak of - know exactly where to place their slips fields men something we severly lack, i always feel our slips are too deep and so many catches have gone abegging as it just falls short.
Pressure is quite convenient excuse for England being dire in Ashes for long. Handling pressure is an equally important ingredient of a sportsman repertoire besides the sporting talent obviously. With England it's the pressure of the Ashes series, we prioritise it right at the very top, from first class cricket right down to league cricket, when the ashes is on everything else is secondary. For this reason England are always under pressure to perform, in Australia England struggle. The same conditions in south africa where they have fast bouncy seaming wickets yet England in the last 15 years have performed admirably in south africa.
What a beautiful action Bumrah has..
Soo Soo awesome..

Shami and jazz bowling a tad too short. need to pitch it up further and use the half pitch bouncer as a surprise weapon. also vk should keep a fwd short leg - cmon have 300 odd runs to play with.
on the other hand petersen looks a million dollars. very balanced and sure with his judgement, good leaves and great driving. A star for saf cricket for the future along with janssen
Not watching live due to work but agree with your point on Petersen. I watched SA first inning's highlights yesterday and was very impressed with Petersen's batting (Though he didn't score much).
I think he is going to be a good player for SA in future.
Maybe we collectively jinxed him
but surely a champ in the making
Growing up Never thought one day watching Indian fast bowling will be the most exciting thing to watch in a test match.
At that time our batting was miles better than our bowling so we loved our batting more.So you didn't see the likes of Srinath and zaheer in their pomp? Srinath was genuinely fast with very awkward bounce.
Couple of wickets now?
Bumrah gets Dussen, what a Jaffa!
Why is Maharaj sent so early? 12 overs still to be bowled before stumps today.
Bumrah has this uncanny knack of taking wickets off unplayable deliveries when least expected.Indeed. Rassie could have done nothing about it even if he had attempted a shot
How many wickets india will take in last session ? My prediction SAF 90/4
