VDM getting spanked in this match, I am loving it. He always gives the impression he's so much better than he actually is.

Morgan turning it on here. England look like if they're going to go above 300. 279/4 after 45.

Ravinder Bopara's terrible summer continues....

He'll be history when KP returns

one side of field is 58m boundary. Eng should try to get to 320. Bopara a big mistake with that shot but a better batsman was left after him and now Broad is also gone

300 up for England

So, it will be a record chase at Centurion if Saffies manage it.

I highly doubt it though.

Eoin Morgan

Seems like this is the weekend for every possible thread out there so here is another one.
I have seen this guy bat in a couple of matches and he reminds me a bit of KP when he entered the international arena. Really good against both spin and fast bowling.

He played really well today, 67 runs from 34 balls before he got out. 5 sixes. Well done.

Oh dear...it seems SA are on their way out here, my fantasy team captain is smith, SA making an early departure from the tourny is disaster!

Come on Saffers make a comeback...Please!

Great catch from smith as i speak, morgan gone.

1) Bopara is now history
2) Michael Vaughan must regret retiring - he assumed Bopara was in for the next 3-5 years!
3) Morgan - very innovative!

So currently it looks like we will have

Pakistan,
Australia (possibly India),
England,
NZ/SL

comon England, crush SA like bugs

If England doesn't get two wickets in first 10 overs then advantage South Africa as I can see them race to 70-0 in 10 on this ground.

Make that 100-0 now that Gibbs in .

So it's confirmed. If South Africa lose today, they will DEFINITELY be out of the tournament.

They are currently on NRR of -0.053 and Sri Lanka, having played 3 game already, are on NRR 0.085. If South Africa lose their NRR will go down for sure helping Sri Lanka going second.

Equation is simple for New Zealand. They go through, they just have to WIN their last game!

HOWEVER, If South Africa win today they WILL DEFINITELY go through as they will be on 4 points.
Whoever wins from England v New Zealand game on Thursday will go through!

Africans have really been taken to cleaner!!! Man I so wanted them to play against Pakistan in the final. 323 is a huge total, expect them to crumble under pressure.

Onions is bowling rubbish short of length deliveries but Saffies haven't cashed in so far.

Dammit, England have scored 300+ four times. and every time they have lost.

Will they be 5th time lucky?
