How many bowlers do.we have today despite not having usman we seem to be changing bowlers so often
 
Batting pitch. Par score is 180. Pak should not worry too much, it has the batting to chase this. Stay calm, restrict SA to less than 200 and the match is on.
 
South African bowling is pathetic.
Pakistan should chase any score on this pitch.
 
When you need a wicket you go to your leggie . He would either get smashed or pick wickets. Such silly management of resources by the team management.

Don't know about that but I think posters who make threads about the likes Pat Cummins being bad investments are misguided by the pitches that the PSL had for years. On real belters even top international attacks can get flayed. That does not mean the bowlers are bad but teams Pakistan should be mentally prepared to chase big scores above 200 etc.
 
I think this match is gone. Even if South Africa slow down here, they damage down in the first 5 overs will ensure that they get a defendable total on board.

Only a miraculous collapse can save Pakistan here.

Absolutely dismal bowling and captaincy.
 
Everyone today : Lets keep a leg spinner.. even if he goes for runs he takes wickets.
Misbah : na na soniyo.. defensive finger spinner is need of the hour.
 
Will need an implosion here to stem the flow. Otherwise this will be out of hand by the 16th/17th over.
 
Haha different ground, different pitch, Pak has an extra batsman and Fakhar is back. And SA bowling is still pedestrian, somehow they managed to do well in the last T20. So I am hopeful that Pak can comfortably chase anything less than 200.

Series was gone the day this South African side beat us. Our kittens are now mentally gone, and it will take a monumental individual performance for our team to save face.

Have seen this too many times now.

The pitch at the Wanderers was as good as could be, evident from Hasan Ali coming out and swinging two clean sixes on his first two deliveries. Our champions just forgot how to bat completely.

SA can bowl underarm and still beat these mentally weak losers.

Match is not gone at all. This looks like a good pitch. Pakistan need some damage control. Cutters, cross seamers etc.
 
World class youngsta beauty thinking too much about how rubbish he has been recently, and gives away two easy runs.
 
Why does Ramiz talk non-stop. Just be quiet in between please. We're already annoyed with the team's performance and Ramiz's constant talking makes it worse.
 
Looks like a batting paradise. 200 can be achieved with likes of Fakhar back in the team. If he goes early, I doubt other batsmen in Pak lineup are skilled enough to chase 200. It's a clash between SA vs Fakhar to sum it up.
 
Pakistan has no bite at all. This attack will get mauled on the Indian pitches and outfields in the WT20.

Pakistan need Amir back. At least he has bowling intelligence and will find a way to minimize the damage.

These other bowlers bottle it after getting hit for a couple of boundaries.
 
It's just too erratic from the attack 2 good balls followed by a rank full toss. This is where Amir was competent in LOIs and, if conditions suited, would make the ball talk.
 
Hassan will never get back to the 2017 zone. People should cut down their expectations from him.

He is one of these cricketers who peaked way too early and spent the rest of his career trying to relive that period.

He is just an okay bowler now, but good enough for our appalling standards especially in LOIs.
 
Whats up with the negativity here? Ur playing a top team in their backyard where the average score is 209..its not like they are bashing us? its just what happens on this ground. Atleast let both the teams play! 1 bad game and its as if everything is forgotten? We won the series against this team at our home, we are defeating them at their home what seems to be the issue here then? Does it matter how we play as long as we are winning? Weird mentality here

South Africa C has no business competing with our first XI. It’s embarrassing and goes to show how bad we will get owned in the WT20.

I expect Pakistan to drop a T20 and a test to Zimbabwe too later. Mark this post.
 
Pakistan's bowling is county standard at best. Hassan Ali is particularly bad.

RSA have found a gem in Malan and Markham is a known quantity.
 
Timely blow. Wrong man for SA. Vital for Pak to try and get a foothold in the game.
 
Markram is thriving under the pressure of added responsibility thanks to the departure of players like QdK and Miller, as well as the retirement of Faf.

If he becomes the captain he will take his game to the next level. Seems like one of those characters who thrive under responsibility.

His potential is enormous. He can easily become a G. Smith and Kallis type player for South Africa.

Deserved a ton today but a terrific knock nonetheless. This is how you dominate in this format.
 
Markram got himself out to be honest. Wanted to continue with that 200 SR against these hapless pathetic bowlers.

RVD to come in and inflict more damage now. South Africa comfortably looking at a score above 200 here.
 
Stay positive buddy. Pak can win this game. There is plenty of time left in the match.

Hassan Ali had one fluke run in the 2017 champions trophy and has booked a constant spot in the cricket team for the next decade as a result of that. Hassan Ali needs to go, he doesnt contribute anything to the team beside leak constant runs

This is far from a top team.

This lineup will get smashed by England, India, Australia and New Zealand in the same conditions.

We saw what England did to them in the T20 series few months back.
