He hardly bowls, has never taken a wicket in test cricket. Never taken a wicket in first class.

How does he expect that he will outperform even the worst Indian pacer, who practice their art all the time?
 
These two have played really well considering the conditions.

The few times he has bowled in intl cricket he has looked good,has picked a wicket in intl cricket as well and once almost got kp and mahela out.
 
No offence but can Smith share the strike? He's horrid to watch while the guy on the other end is a delight to.
 
I would say 600 on for SA.

Indian bowlers would breakdown in the first test itself.
 
Well done, Smith make it 100, and 150 and 200 because you will only bat once in this test at least :D
 
If Indian feels they can win tests abroad, they need to strengthen their bowling, and also learn to hold on to catches. They can only dream of winning if they drop sitters, and go with 2 and half bowlers.
 
i dont think any indian bowler will be able to touch 140 for once in 2nd innings if south africa had to bat :))

India should try to save their bowlers from breaking down by letting Dhawan, Kohli, Talunted etc. bowl. Their main bowlers are not gonna strike anyway:sohail
 
the way current batsmen are scoring i guess they will touch 250 before end of the day without any problem.
 
Right from day one I was told by coaches to first see and concentrate where I wanted to land the ball, and I followed it. But I never understand how does Ishant sharma bowls without actually looking at the batsman at the point of delivery? His head seems to be down at that time.
 
This is shitty bowling. If you can't take wickets at least contain runs. Big defeat looming at this rate. Match may not go into day five. :)

South africa Should Look Forward to Bulid 150-200 First Inning lead
it will not be easy
but Thay have to do That

if SA take 100 Run,s lead (Than Match will be in blance)

Bcz SA Has to bat last on this Pitch

Zaheer,Ishant,Shami bowling well in there First Spell

Zaheer is down at Pace if he can not Touch 135kph in Johburg than he is Finsh (sad to see His pace)

Overall Ishan Best Indian Bowler
 
Indian bowlers created some "new" records in England and Australia. In Australia, at one point in the series they took one wicket for 700 or so runs when Clarke, Punter and Mikey made merry - looks like they are headed for some new records here too. But their bowling has not been so bad here, SA batting has not been very convincing so far.

India Missed B.Kumar Today

Yadav/Shami 1 of them Will make in Indian team

B.Kumar can bowl 8-9 Overs Spell

Shami was Better than Zaheer

10kph fast than Zaheer

Where Zaheer has Bowled 132kph Average at Johburg Pitch

Sandeep sharma is 120 kph trundler :nehra
 
The pacers are being over-worked. It would be devastating if one of them breaks down. Get Ashwin and a part-timer to bowl for a bit then bring back Zaheer and see if he can reverse it.

Average is more important than SR in tests. I agree with the other two. However, I was just pointing out that Yadav would have just given away a lot more runs had he been playing.
 
Misjudged that one completely. India get a wicket... Finally.
