Good thing about Kallis playing shots is he'll offer some opportunities, it's on India to take them.
 
We need a minimum of 2 more wickets before lunch,anything more will be a bonus but 2 more is minimum!
 
Dhoni should be worried. Ab, Duminy and Philander yet to come. The need a wicket before lunch.
 
Great game so far, I got it 50/50 right now, this partnership can be a dangerous one and India will want to break it fast, AB, Duminy yet to come

I think SA will win by 2 wicket
 
Have this gut feeling we are gonna lose today. Oh well still proud of the way we've performed in this test.
 
Zaheer Khan Average speed today has been 128kph

if he is Bowling at 128kph Average in Joburg

Than at Indian Pitches dont expect more than 130kph

Bring Yadav which have pace and Age on his side

Zaheer needs to be kicked off the attack. Has shifted the momentum in SA's favor single-handedly.
 
What a terrible decision, this is why we need DRS. That decision has made this game a one sided contest.

Kallis was dragging SA into the game big time.

Poor fella, has been out of form and looked to be back in form but the umpire screws him over.
 
That was a quick cameo from kallis.
Agreed with James it would be a miracle of SA win this. They have 10% chances of winning it as of now.

India are favs definitely but it seems SA are going for the finish line when you look at the risky singles being taken.
 
My favorite south african batsman on the crease. India need to get him or else he can punish you big time

Probably because it is a long time since India won against a worthy opponent overseas. But India never set a target of 458 either - so there is much hope. SA is not batting out a patient draw so far, so that gives India more chances to win. If SA shut shop they may be able to draw. We need them to go after the target then wickets are easier to come by,
 
This is what I hate about BCCI not going for DRS.
- If we are victims of a bad decision, feels like "serves India right".
- If we get lucky.. then I feel for the other batsman who has been wrongly given out, and cannot review.

It's sad either way. :(
 
India really should win this from here. Even if they get no more wickets in this session getting 6 wickets (maybe 5 if Morkel doesn't bat) on this 5th day pitch should be achievable.

SA just need another 250 to win. Should be easy unless they chose to play worse then Pakistan.
 
Well DRS got one decision wrong in the last ashes match.. This is a part and parcel of the game.. Things happen

That's harsh. It was brilliant fielding from Rahane to run out Smith, and Sharmi was all over Petersen with a lovely spell (a well-set batsman) before finally inducing the wicket off a hostile length.

It always annoys me when people say playing onto your stumps is just a lucky wicket for the bowler and the batsman has been unlucky. Such an incorrect reading.

Yep a cheap dismissal I reckon. De Villiers under pressure, well any SA batsman not called Graeme under pressure - not really convincing.

Just 250? I like your logic. 100 is easy. 150 is just a little more than 100 so it is easy. 200 is just a little more than 150 so it is easy. 250 is just a little more than 200 so it is easy. And I can go all the way to 1000, err, infinity.

Good run rate from the saffers in this session.

Why are India bowling at such a poor over rate? If they have SA 8/9 down and have to go off for bad light it will be their own fault.
 
Only reason India made 421 today is because Faf's zipper was broken this match :P
 
Don't get India's slow over rate. Thought they would want to bowl as much as possible

Today is a special day. India should have scored 1000plus but as usual India being India they can't even score a single good score.
 
All India have to keep doing is sneaking a wicket every hour or so and the tail will soon be in.

SA have miles to bat and only De Villiers is a top-drawer batsman.

Will AB and Ziplessis be able to pull out another match saving partnership?
 
Rate at which SA is scoring could bring the win into question but they need a huge partnership and India have been striking regularly
