Why does Dhoni keep bowling Zak? Bring on Shami, the only wicket taker in this innings.
 
I don't rate ojha much either. Chawla is the best option in my opinion. Attacking spinner with variations that actually mean something, was pretty lethal for Sussex in england and looked the most dangerous against england
 
RSA shud go for the win now if they really wanna prove their number 1 status. In a real sense. And India shud not lose hope at all as well. Shud try rotating bowlers. Quick wickets can change the game in a flash still.
 
If dhoni thinks he can get a draw by containing then he is probably the dumbest captain ever!
 
What are the chances of rain here? Jo_Don you in Jo'burg and i know you're biting your nails somewhere tuning to this thread :yk

For India to win from here, they need Wasim/Waqar like bowlers. Too late to turn the tide.
 
How many overs has Zak bowled? Incredibly fit, marathon! What a great role model to the youngsters

He already lost 1 world cup for india...is that not enough?
 
keep bowling wide of off stump now and let saffers batsmen chase it to hit it.... there is no way india gonna win this match now.

Sa batsman generally dominated the Pak bowlers in Sa. Don't know why Pak fans go on about junaid and irfan like they're any better than what India have, they havnt shown themselves to be. Two most overrated bowlers in world cricket btw
 
We're witnessing history. At this stage you're just willing SA over the line. They deserve it, this is something special.
 
It appears that they have wasted a golden once in a lifetime opportunity.

Had our batsmen batted even half as well as the Indians, the bowlers would have been even more potent. In any case Ajmal greater than all of India's spinners.

Next series against Aus too, It was jadeja who bowled well at crush situation..Ashwin just a supporting role...

And Ojha was ordinary against Australia! Why don't you mention that?

Jadeja had a dream series against Australia sort of once in a life time series. He may never average 17 in a series again.

He may have played a match saving innings against Aus too. But I am not sold on his batting in Tests.

I agree that he is a terrific ODI and T20 player.
 
Captain cool has officially lost the plot. Stick to ODIs mate..test cricket is not your cup of tea.
 
India will need to unearth an actual fast bowler before kohli can lead them into a new dawn
 
If SA wins this will go down as one of the greatest test win of recent times.

Well in the first test match only Junaid played. And then Rahat Khalil and Umar Gul were the other 2 bowlers. None of them performed well coz the pressure was leaked by the newbie. But still in the first innings we managed to get SA out for 233. Its another deal our whole team got out for 49 runs as far as I remember.

2nd test match, Irfan played but Junaid was injured. We played Tanvir Ahmad who was probably the worst bowler you ever gave the ball to. Bowled at 110kph and released all the pressure. Still in the 2nd test we gave them a close fight.

3rd Test match Ehsan Adil and Rahat Khalil bowled, of which Ehsan Adil got injured after 12 overs.

It was only Ajmal who was our main bowler. Junaid and Irfan never played a test match together in that series in SA. We probably played our 3rd string bowling attack because our main bowlers were injured.. And certainly the selection was to blame for our poor series in SA, none of the players in the current team played back then

They weren't potent at all. Pak fans forget how ineffective they were in Sa, a place where fast bowlers are meant to prosper. Asif on the tour before was excellent
 
Now this has into an ODI and with these INdia are not going to defend this we flipping murder them :bumble:

Well i agree Tanvir and Gul were rubbish but Irfan and junaid made an impression
 
A draw is still possible but I know Dhoni is not going to allow it. He keeps bowling the wrong choices after tea.
 
No need to go too hard AB, get that as close as possible too 50 40 to win in 10 over then have a go.
 
Btw Irfan got 4 wickets in the 2nd test match.. And then Southafrica had to chase down 186 in the 2nd innings. We still managed to get 6 of their players out. All 6 wickets to ajmal. If we even had 50 more runs we wouldve won the match. India on the other hand haven't been able to defend a lead of 450.

I was just stating a fact.
 
What about bad light? Its 16:26 in SA bad light was around 17:15 yesterday. Dhoni had to bowl spinners, he wont to that this time around.
