Azhar Ali needs to do what he has done 9 more times and he'll have a ton in South Africa.

No, a moderator's job is to remove posts and remain objective. I should know, I helped PP out with moderation in the past.

A mere poster meanwhile can afford to be less objective. :)

I have made a lot of posts here, the majority of them of them have been about relevant things. Stop generalising.

Come on James, PakPosheeda, let's focus on the game. It's been fantastic bowling from Steyn so far, and our top order has fallen like flies. This will truly be a Test match to watch.

If you can show me my last say 30 posts about Pak cricketers and therefore prove this claim through evidence, then fine.

However seeing as you will find it impossible because your claim is false, then good luck.
 
Azhar Ali is horrible in domestic cricket but somehow he usually does well in test cricket.

Both of these teams have beaten England in Tests in the past 16 months so I doubt any English posters are going to be biased against either team in this series. You just need to learn to accept people's opinions even if they are criticising Pakistan...

Back on topic, these two are batting well at the moment but Morkel is bowling with quite a bit of pace and both he and Kallis have a knack of getting wickets so they are going to have to keep working hard.
 
This pitch is uneven. Pak should look to minimize the deficit, as it'll be almost impossible to attain anything above 150 in the last inning.
 
I wish YK could have surived... pitch easing out would have helped his strength of staying and capitalizing later on.

All they had to do was to see off the new ball for 10 overs. I think Azhar should be opening. Have the stroke makers come out afterwards and target Kallis and Peterson specially. If Hafeez and Jamshed were batting right now, with very little movement, we would've have scored twice as much by now.
 
Shoaib akhtar should have reserved his comments till our batting was over ! Getting close to the saffers total is going to be tough.
 
my respect for Azhar ali goes up...
but my respect for Misbah continue to go higher.....he 38 years and counting...and taking the blows, absorbing the pressure
 
Still very tough for Pak.

The ball is still moving but less than before.

Small little partnership building.

They probably have a clue about cricket, unlike half this forum who are moronic in their Misbah hate. Anyone bagging him for not scoring at 6 rpo yet?

Tough position for Pakistan, but Steyn gonna Steyn. Speaking from Aussie experience not much can be done when he fires. Just have to hope you are still batting when he has a spell.

In all honesty, some of the stuff your posting PakPosheeda is absolute drivel. I mean Steyn a home-track bully? Watch him play against teams other than Pak, he's the best fast bowler in the world.

I think most of that hate comes from ODI cricket where Misbah is pretty much clueless. In test cricket its a different story though.
 
Told you guys - slightly easier to be batting out there right now, particuarly because a) the ball isn't doing as much and b) the likes of Kallis etc have been brought on to bowl. Azhar and Misbah certainly looking better out there than previously.
 
Misbah is absorbing pressure really well... The one good thing for Pakistan is that Vernon is not fully fit, he will not be able to bowl too many overs... Styne will be less threatening in second and third spell...
Occuping crease is key, runs does not matter...
Morkel is going to be hand full because of his short stuff... But those delivers are not as wicket taking...

Grinding the bowler is key... Let's hope they keep doing that
 
Easy Misbah, cald down. Lunch is only 35 minutes or so away

Irfan need's to play the enforcer role like morkel if he plays the next test or the last.
