Bit like Salman butt
But Imam as an opener is already working out, no need to change that but sure Shan can be tried for couple of games before the worldcup so that we can know what he is capable of in ODIs.
I dont remember a Pakistani opener doing better than what Imam has done over the last year. He hasnt been most dominant but his consistency needs appreciation.
Yes and he is just 23 and will surely learn a lot of things in the next couple of years. He already knows things which are most difficult to teach someone who doesnt know them and that is decent technique and temperament.
Salman Butt’s best years were ahead when he got banned.
Today looks like a 350 wicket.
Also scored an 82* in NZ last January. Missed out on a definite century due to rain.
Fakhar on his day can demolish every bowling attack.
We need to persist with him, he will pay our support back inshaAllah.
lol every wicket is like 350 for you.... only three times 350+ is scored and that too only once after 2015

Pakistan scored 317 very comfortably in the 3rd ODI on a much more difficult track to bat on. Ball is coming on nicely and the boundaries are not so big, plus quick outfield
Fakhar was our best batsman averaging 50 on a tour when everyone else were falling like pins.
Pakistan fans ought to remember it wasn't long ago we were opening with Azhar and Shehzad. Back the only naturally attacking batsman we have now fgs !
These type of batsmen will frustrate sometimes but must be stuck with.
Is babar only 22?
Is babar only 22?
I have no Problem with fakhar as he is hit and miss but gives the innings an impetus
This thread is moving way too fast, heh.
it doesnt require a 350+ score for any decent bowling lineup...Pakistan scored 317 very comfortably in the 3rd ODI on a much more difficult track to bat on. Ball is coming on nicely and the boundaries are not so big, plus quick outfield
Babar proudly living up to his name. Great potential, but a soft player. Truly the next Yousuf in the making.
Babars mediocre series ends.
Sadly looks soBabar proudly living up to his name. Great potential, but a soft player. Truly the next Yousuf in the making.
Fakhar still has issues against back of the length balls. No timing whatosever
