Breaking news Jon Lewis is flying home and will be replaced in the squad by Stuart Broad. Lewis's wife is suffering complications in the latter stages of pregnancy, says an ECB spokesman.

Hope everything goes well for him and his wife...

You are right. They have big hitters at the start but not at the end and that has been their issue for some time. If they do proceed any further from the Super 8s, this will be potentially thier downfall...
 
^they just got one jaysurya,if he does nt fire then posting a big score can be a problem for them.other teams have many like nzl,south africa and asutralia

Very good performance thus far by England, but I still have a feeling that Sri Lanka will win, whether through my pessimism or else England's incomparable ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
 
we ll know who ll win after the first 20 overs.i have a feeling england might get off to a flying start given the conditions there.unlike lankans they will look to play more shots.
 
If Pietersen bats well then we win.

It seemed as a good decision, hawk eye suggested it was going over the stumps...Plus, kp has a pretty big stride, hence bowden had a doubt planted in his mind...

That was close - good appeal for LBW against Flintoff.

Was OUT according to Lord Hawkeye - flush on leg.
