Fish said:Shows how Dhonis decision not to play put himself before the team.
cars112 said:Indiafan, if you are incapable of following the simplest conversation then I really pity your comprehension skills. Hash understood my point but it seems it is beyond your limited intelligence?
Anyway as Aussie said keep revering your GREAT HERO DHONI who has just cost you a Test and maybe even a series by his selfish decision to put money above his country...of course this won't be anywhere as hilarious as when Ajantha destroys your batsmen like he did in the Asia Cup final. 6 for 13. World's greatest batting line-up LMAO)

Indiafan said:yes since everyone was discusing about Karthik's dropped catches and Hash jokingly brought Akmal into it, its so obvious that we actually meant to be discussing how cr@p a batsman Karthik is when compared to Akmal, thanks for your correction
Indiafan said:And if Dhoni's rest prevents him from getting injured in other improtant series in the future, I would take that over 1 series defeat
cars112 said:Well he played every single game in the IPL didn't he? Which was a meaningless tournament but it paid him lots of rupees...but when it came to the real test against Ajantha and playing for his country...he pulled out...what a pathetic coward, one who puts money above his nation!
But as Aussie said, he is hailed as the GREAT HERO DHONI by the effigy wielding mobs of Indian fans...says a lot both about Indian fans and Indian captains doesn't it?
cars112 said:And who denied Akmal wasn't dropping catches? Players are picked for both keeping and batting though and my point was that even Akmal despite his dropped catches is still not as bad as this Indian because of his batting and should not be compared with him
and did anyone say that Akmal is as bad as Karthik? they were just laughing at his dropped catches
Yeah, make sure he doesn't get injured and plays "important" series like the IPL whereas he skips a Test series - boy you Indians are deluded aren't you)

Maybe you knew 3 months ago that a player would feel tired and demotivated in 3 months but dhoni is no seer like you. He was in the best of health and it was only a few 20/20 matches, the first IPl, with his own cricket board taking the initiative and him the captian of a side.
I will spell some things for you so that even you can understand
1) There was no way BCCI was letting him off IPL, with him being the highest paid, even if he begged BCCI on his knees so resting in IPL was no option
2) BCCI did not give him an option to rest from the all improtant Kitply cup and the Asia cup
3) Its only now BCCI gave him permission to rest so he took the first series which came his way
4) he is tired NOW, so he is resting NOW. He wasnt tired 2 months ago.
But even after this you can keep spouting your hate and rubbish as you have no counter for the above points.
cars112 said:Blah blah blah
Your national captain played every game in a pointless, meaningless domestic tournament like the IPL because it paid him tons of rupees, but he is skipping a Test series against a tough bowler (bowlers rather) because he claims "tiredness". That's a fact and you can't deny it - your captain puts money above playing for the country. You can whinge about me "spouting hate" and what not but the FACT is that your country's captain puts money above his country and then makes an excuse about being tired for it.
Agree with u, they really have to score quicker if they want to win this match.Random Aussie said:Sri Lanka need to get a move on in the next session, they are 3/308 but not scoring so quickly. Have to try and get some quick runs and then back their bowlers to get India out, otherwise probably a draw if India can bat ok.
India need to pray for rain cos their only options now are draw or loss, barring the TALL & MIGHTY ISHANT destroying the Lankans.
Indiafan said:You might know 3 months befoer that you will feel tired and demotivated after 3 months, but no human being can do that.
Yes, its been 3 damn months since the tournament, 1/4 of a year.
Just because you use the word 'fact' and repeat the same sentence again and again does not make it true,. Just makes you sound like a parrot
I gave 4 valid points on why Dhoni might do that. Do you have any rebuttals to any of them apart from parroting the same lines?

I think its gonna be a draw btw

Believe me, these guys can bat! I dont think we'll see a grand choke as the asia cup final, cause that was an ODI + a finalP) + other team

They should play T20 style tomorrow, and then they have a chance to win
lollol said:What did everyone think, that with these reviews no errors will be made anymore???? Ofcourse they will, but in the end, not as much as without these reviews...
In the end, these reviews will do good, but it does need some fine tuning. Atleast symonds will walk now when he nicked it and ppl like monty would stop making ridiculous appeals
saffer said:Never mind the series between us and Australia. That is something for people who support the number 1 and 2 best teams in the world to worry about (Ie the teams taking part). The fans of lesser teams like India should try and focus on other opposition and not worry about what first grade teams like S.A and Australia are doing....it's out of your league.
lollol said:This has to be a draw, they need to bowl out a strong batting line-up TWICE
Nah, im not CONVINCED, but i think the way Lanka use to bat.... knowing them, they will bat at this slow rate till they get 600+cars112 said:lollol...you seem to be convinced (not just from this post but another couple you made earlier) that this will be a draw!
Do remember that just two Tests ago, India were dismissed for 76 runs in 20 overs, and recently Mendis took 6/13 against them in 8 overs in an ODI (granted Raina/Sharma etc. are not playing here). I don't understand why you think it is so out of the ordinary for SL to win here?
