So basically besides Misbah and fawad. And hafeez and shehzad. There was no other partnership.
 
Misbah and fawad played sensibly. Afridi looked sensible too. I guess it wasn't our day.
 
If we do this from here fawad should be made captain

Never trust Afridi.

When Maqsood was out, the game was almost gone.

Now Fawad needs some out of the world batting to give Pak a chance.

Really, then whose job is it? While chasing 300 most teams who successfully chase it always chase more than 8-9 per over in last 10 keeping wickets in hands
 
Afridi is so dumb all the fielders are on the off and he slogs It to the off.

lol no ever thinks Afridi does anything, 99% of the people here knew the game was over when Maqsood went out
 
There is only man to blame here and its the tuk tuk king Sir :misbah Selfish player, plays only for his average.
 
Misbah was saying why did he hit in the off when fielder was here

umm no

we don't have india's batting

you can't assume that strategy will work with every line up

if you follow pakistan cricket you will know the only way for pakistan to chase down big totals consistently is to keep up with the RRR. not save wickets and let the rate climb to 9 then expect EVERYONE ELSE to do the hard bit
 
It is guys like Afridi that makes T.Perera look good and then we have to suffer seeing T.Perera for another 10 match before he gets dropped...........and get selected a series later without any improvement.
 
Man I thought Maqsood was really unlucky. He was so far down the crease.

Wasn't there a rule for drs like after 2.5m of length. Its given not out
 
Misbah complaining that Afridi played a bad shot.

Hafeez smiling and thinking - May be you should not have played that risky paddle sweep. :P

Lol, when chasing 300, 8-9 per over for last 10 is what each team target. Weren't you saying Afridi is the best finisher? Finsihers like Raina, Kohli, even Maqsood can easily finish from this position. Most time we chased 300+ we have chased over 8 in last 10

I know. Its just a way of expressing something.

Didn't imply that Pak fans expect him to do the job for sure.

I like Perera's batting but his bowling is bad man.

Don't even talk kiddo. Misbah's selfishness to play for his average was exposed today and was there for everyone to see.

Batsmen used to get the benefit of the doubt and they were lucky. But not anymore.

Everyone complains that game has gone in favor of batsmen. But with batsmen being given out by DRS even after coming down the pitch so far, it kind of evens out their advantage.

Remember, bowlers can always make a come back after being hit for a six. Batsmen, once they play a false shot, they are done for the game.
 
I thought misbah was playing well. He was unlucky he got caught out by the fielder.

Srilanka has a long tail.

For Pakistan. Even their regular batsmen look like tailenders sometimes.

He absolutely killeddddddddddd the momentum. Everyone saw the run rate climbing by his tuk tuk and knew it would come back to haunt us. You didn't watch the game clearly or you don't have a brain. Man I'm so pxssed off, we got off to a flier.

anyone who thinks otherwise does not know pakistan cricket

we don't have the best finishers in the world... keeping wickets means 0 for us... it's all about the RRR... we had a chance to keep it at bay, instead we let it creep up very high. Thank you Misbah

Basically, you expect someone like Jadeja or Ahswin to finish the game off in a similar situation?

What did Maqsood and u akmal do? Sometimes its better to get dots then get out cheaply.

His batting is horrible. This is his 2nd 50. He is only good vs Bang, Ind,ZImb fast bowlers that bowls below 130km/h on flat pitches and Spinners that doesn't turn the ball too much and doesn't bowl more than 90 KM/h. He can't do ANYTHING when batting in fast and or bouncy pitches. When bowling he often picks up hacks, players in bad form and tail-enders. I rather have one extra bowler or an extra genuine batsmen than this fool.
 
Poor death bowling and failure of middle-order has done in for us. Game over.
