I've always been a supporter of Khurram Manzoor..
He is a determined, hard working cricketer.. He'll have to work very hard on his technique if he wants to be successful in test cricket. And I'm sure he's ready to do that.. I mean I've seen this guy playing and practising in scorching heat for hours and hours.. I'm pretty sure he knows where he's lacking and he'll work hard to improve.

True. The very thing that irks me about Manzoor is how he gets onto the front-foot, then just cannot do anything besides defend after that. Even if he does get into position to play the drive, he has to let the ball go as if he does play the forceful drive, the ball will loop up in the air. Its just all completely messed up for Manzoor as soon as the ball gets pitched up to him outside the off-stump. Anything straight and he can flick the ball off his legs, no problem there at all

I would still prefer Nasir Jamshed over him given that he has a lot more shots in repertoire. But I will still give credit to Manzoor for sticking it out in the middle against the odds, battling away against a bowling attack that blew our batting line-up from Colombo into the Indian Ocean in the last two tests
