Lakmal bowling well. . . . But If they can survive this little spell then Pakistan will be well on its way towards victory.
 
TBH YK should avoid wide of off stump deliveries on good length, You never know which one takes an edge behind to the keeper.
 
Best thing about Shaan is he will never throw his wicket away on a good ball. He won't try to make something that isn't their. He might get out to a bad ball, but playing a poor shot to a good ball isn't him.

He is v similar to Malik in the way he understands the game.

But actually tbh I think Kaushal will come back strongly. He's too good of a bowler not to.

Depends how many overs left. Shouldn't think too much in to where they should be at close of play. Should just look to bat out without losing a wicket.
 
Younis Khan is 127 runs short of breaking Javed Miandad's record of most rest runs (8832)
 
25+ overs left. Should try to play them out without losing wicket. 210/ 2 looks good.
 
got to play out the 25 plus overs and see where we are at the end of the day. I would prefer not losing anymore wickets today. Going into tomorrow with our better batsmen still around will really allow us to go for this or at least save it..
 
That big turn scares me a bit.

Kaushal is a champion bowler. I sense a wicket for him soon. Getting so much turn right now.

Good fight shown by these two but that 1st inns lead we gave away might cost us the game in the end, these two need to be still batting come the end of the day.
 
Shani surpasses this highest score. Time to make a big daddy hundred

He will play against England in UAE and I will travel down to UAE to watch :)

Hopefully till/if he comes on he wouldn't have more than 50 odd to make.

InshaAllah he will not need to score a century.

The guys who are in, need to do majority of the hard work. It will not be easy to come in and get going for the new batsman

For the neutrals this has been a brilliant series. Regardless of the result of this match I've been thoroughly entertained and glued to my TV/Cricinfo.
 
Shaan needs a double hundred. He will shut everyone up then. He already has silenced critics, but that would be for Pakistan. He is a great guy, deserves this.
 
If only we had 50-60 runs more in the 1st innings, we do like to make life harder than it needs to be it but what's done is done.

This would be incredible if we pull this off but we need these two to get big hundreds and for solid partnerships from everyone. Time is not an issue like it was in Sharjah 2014.
 
Ian Gould should get his eye sight checked. This guy has been consistently poor.

being picked off as both batsmen are settled..thats why its important they play out the day. a new batsman now would be under massive pressure..
 
phew slid the bat in nicely!
ive seen many plonk their bat down which then gets raised as the feet go in the air during the run

Gotta agree with this. Wasn't expecting such a good series. Was expecting another typical Pak-SL series, or even a complete washout.
 
Shaan will represent Pakistan for many years. Can't wait to see him overseas in UK .
