Matthews caught slogging at the end.

3 tail ender wickets.

Why so much hype for Imran?

He's very mediocre.

Are we in a match winning position because of him?
 
Now I'm hoping my brothers Shaan and Shehzad put on a massive stand.

I hope we can chase this. then Imran Khans effort will be valuable.

:facepalm: How come useless??? Crucial 5 wicket haul it is! Under 400 has less scoreboard pressure! Can be chased down especially against this SL bowling line up! Provided all the batsmen play with a positive and aggressive mindset like Sarfaraz!

Agreed, sometimes I don't get it on PP. Now if Shan Masood is to get a century right now I would be happy because a youngster is stepping up but half of PP decides to moan.

Haha yes but was hoping he would have taken this 5-fer a bit earlier and when SL didn't have 370+ lead on board.

If he got them out for 250 lead then yes I would say I have truly been proved wrong.

But worrying sign when our seamer get's a 5-for here, just imagine how dangerous Prasad and Co will be for our batters.

Why can't you just be happy for him? If it weren't for him, we would've been chasing somewhere around 450-475 in much less time keeping in view Mathew's defensive mindset. He delivered when the rest of our bowling looked toothless, credit where its due.

That is if they're as disciplined which they have been earlier in this test. IK has stopped runs and bowled good lines and really deserves this 5 wicket haul.
 
Remember my views on Imran Khan and how this terrible 5fer will cost us long term. I hope he doesn't play England series. We will be embarrassed.

I find myself closing and logging out very often because of people like him. Always whining and crying, complaining about how we'll never win but yet keep watching the match. Its a defensive mechanism to spare them of grief if the team ends up losing, if you've been saying they're gonna lose the entire time, then if they do lose, they wont be as hurt and if they win it'll be a bonus since they we're never expecting it.

Nothing more than a weak mind.

:facepalm:I don't get it... When will people start being positive?... When will they start giving players credit for good performances?... It's hard to believe people criticizing him on getting 5.
 
Though, I am not fan of IK jr but I am enjoying that atleast Rahat aka Wasim Bhai Fans are silent for time being.

I dont resort on Personal attacks, You may be Tees maar khan, we are talking about cricket here

Chasing 370+ is near impossible here

Even Cricinfo is agreed with me

Only a "miracle" can save Pakistan. Else it's game over.

A positive to take from this series is that what looked weak when we entered Sri Lanka was our bowling but even without Wahab we haven't let Sri Lanka get to 400 once. Now some work needs to be done on batting (which I doubt will happen) will get the job done for upcoming series.
 
There's one thing being positive, and there's another thing being realistic. Aint no way Pak are chasing this

There are no positives when you lose a series being 1-0 up.

Truly pathetic show from top order. YK and Shehzad have not turned up at all.
 
So basically pak has been batted out of this match,the only question is now what will be the margin of defeat coz I can't see our batting manning up to the occasion
 
This where Afridi can be so crucial.

Afridi could come in and bludgeon a quick 80 and put Pakistan right back in it.

If there ever was a time for YK and Misbah to step it up and play one last special innings it would be now. Been passengers all series but I'm still clinging on to some hope that they can contribute with big scores here and we pull this off. Too much negativity around here. :afridi
 
Top scorer from Pakistan team?

If YK scores a ton, I am sure in media we will see a quote "If I did not score a ton today, I was going to announce my retirement".

This game won't end in a draw. A win is more possible than a draw at this point, tbh.

I want to go all guns blazing. To be honest i'd rather lose with some pride (and a possible win) then it being a boring draw. Also Pakistan surviving 5 sessions even tuktuking is very unlikely.
 
Only three batsman need hundreds, and one needs a 70 and another needs a 6. Only 5 batsman need to step up #simple

Agree. Most likely they will try to save the match and lose that way which is terrible to watch and boring.

I'm sure Waqar is telling boys to chase the total, but captain possibly may have other ideas.
 
Shan Masood and Shezzy are walking wickets, though.
Play with 2 wickets down from the very start. That's a good way to go about it.
